NEED HELP !!! Flying to tempe to pick up my NSX Jh4na1152mt002287

Hey Arizona... and the rest of the NSX Prime community

I am hoping I could get someone to give me some info on a good shop to check out a 1991 nsx in Tempe AZ... I am flying in on 7/19/07 (this Thursday) and I am going to need all the help I can get to make sure the purchase is a good investment !!! Because I plan on driving the car back 800 miles through some Damn hot desert, up and down mountains, long flat straits and through city traffic.

I am Flying from Sacramento and never been to Tempe, The seller is a NSX Prime member "nothinbutsex" and I know you guys are pretty stand up with making sure members of this form treat other members with mad respect ! So I am hoping for a smooth "honest" transaction !!!

My flight arrives @ 8 am in phoenix, From there I am pretty much on my own !! Getting to Tempe and seeing the car is going to be a challenge for me, I could use some information on what to look for as far as mechanical, electrical, cooling system, suspension etc...

I am not Naive and I know general mechanics but as far as the NSX I am treading in unfamiliar territory !

go to Science of Speed. While you're waiting for your car to be checked out walk over to Munch-a-Mania around the corner and ask for a chicken caesar wrap. Tell them Dan sent you and they'll throw in a bag of chips for free.

That's what I'm talking about !!!!
I will do just that if I can eat, Pretty excited about this car and the drive back to sacramento... almost 800 miles of dodging police radar and road kill !

That is the one !
A little overkill on the audio ! but somewhere under all those wires, tv screens and speakers is a supercharged VIELSIDE just waiting to come out !

But looking at the headers, rims, suspension, paint, leather, steering wheel, NAV and overall looks (less the lambo doors) I think I am getting a lot for my money concidering what a stock one cost for the same year and miliage...

Just got off the phone with Scott.
He had the car checked out at Acura of Tempe and went through all the service records with the dealership.
Other than the cooling system needing a flush, everything checked out good.
He said the interior is not quite up to par, but he's going to negotiate with the seller and hopefully close the deal.
Looks like Scott may have found a car...

Unfortunately it sounds like there were a lot of things wrong with the car according to nxshaw's thread here: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?p=847232#post847232

With patience I'm sure he'll find one that is right for him, but it's too bad he had such a bad experience down in AZ.
