Need Help - Body Shop Recommendation

Gary, glad you're ok and hope you get your beautiful car back on the road soon. Sorry about your accident.

Gary... Totally bummed about your car... :frown:
But the good thing is your ok!!!
Let me know if there is anything I can do!!!

Again, I'd like to thank everyone for the kind words and any info you provided. It's been extremely helpful.

I've selected Pettinato's to do the repairs. Everyone I spoke to who have or knew someone who had repairs (NSX and non-NSX) performed by Pettinato's gave overwhelming good recommendations.

Just now saw this thread.
I went to Autobahn a couple of times, stopped going there. They couldn't match the [White] color on my NSX (??).

I had "The Works" in Santa Clara paint my front bumper on my Modena. No accident damage, just fill in some underneath scrapes (normal), strip and repaint. They are extremely reasonable price-wise, and very fast. They do what they say they'll do, under time and under budget. And everyone has been going on and on about now a totally perfect color match it is [Red].

Gary, hows it going with the repairs ?

Just saw this Gary. Totally sucks about your car. But the good thing is your ok and car is in recovery process. Let us know when its complete and ready to roll again.

Kye, thanks for asking. The repairs are in the tear down and order parts mode with a few parts back ordered. I'm hoping to get my car back by first part of Oct.

Hi Gary,

The hope is to have it back just before ALMS next month. The bodyshop is just about ready to shoot the inside/under paint... with the hope to shoot the outside paint beginning of next week. Also, it turns out that 3 of the wheels had to be replaced with new ones, because they were out-of-round and couldn't be balanced. But one of them is being repaired - outer lip only... and no Ins. Co. would not replace the 4th wheel.

Is it true the insurance company only fixes one wheel and you have to pay for the others your self? Thats what I heard but am not sure. Is the issurance covering your wheels?

Ins. co. paid for the repair of one wheel and replacement costs the other three.
