I am scheduled to pick up a NSX from California this weekend. I have a video camera but no mount. I need a camera mount fast.

Anyone want to sell one, or lend me one? If not, is there any way I can get one anywhere and have it ready by Friday..?

I can also pick this up in California - around LAX.

www.filmtools.com

They can fedex over night

This would be the kit I recommend but I see they are no longer offering it but I would inquire about getting all the pieces for it and putting it together.

This mount also works good but you can only mount it on the rear glass that seperates the cabin from the engine compartment.

Try this one, I have it and it works great. Can be mounted between the seats on the vertical glass window. They are located in California.

I also have this one which I modified and improved because the suction cup on the original sucks. This is my mount of choice but I doubt he will be able to get it in the time he wants.

Re: Looking for NSX Camera Pod in Seattle or LAX area fast

I am in process of purchasing a NSX from LA area and picking it up this weekend. I would like to get a Video Pod for the car asap, this week.

I live in the Seattle area and can pick it up either in Seattle or LA area (though I will be on a time crunch in LA..)

Will pay reasonable price for any unit. If not, would greatly appreciate if someone could lend me one.

I will provide lots of videos on the way back on 101!

Thanks!

Video pod ?

Re: Looking for NSX Camera Pod in Seattle or LAX area fast

What is a camera pod, and what is a video pod? I'm picturing you want a small rig to shoot from your car. Inside or outside? Anyway...

If you can make it to Burbank, go to this shop:

www.filmtools.com

Or just have them express the stuff to you, or the seller's place. Talk with someone in the store or via phone, explain what you want to do, and if you're more concerned with price or performance (sturdiness, ease of setup).

If you can't get to Burbank, I bet Bel-Air camera can help, though they won't have the selection, knowledge, and prices of Film Tools.

Oops, you must have posted in between the time I loaded the tread, and when I actually wrote my reply a bit later. Great minds think alike =)

They also have one that fits on the headrest posts- does the NSX headrest move up?? And really, give them a call with any questions- they are good guys.

The nsx does not have an adjustable headrest so the headrest bar is out as for the timing of your reply the original poster started two similiar threads and they were just merged together by the mods. Yes Filmtools is a great source for all your cam needs and there prices are pretty good

Thanks everyone, I will take a look. I have a local that is willing to help out, so maybe I can do for the time being.

The moderator moved my thread although I'm in the Seattle area... and will be in LA.
