Those with the nav pods installed, I am curious to know the make and model of the monitor you are using, pics would be great to see the final fit.

The a/c is not a concern as the pod decreases the vent area but it also increases the air speed comming out, so the cooling is not an issue

Our kit comes with the modified duct required to plumb the airflow through the smaller ducts. Once this is installed, the effectiveness is the same.

It doesn't increase the speed. How would it do that? Unless you increase the speed manually on the system. The A/C doesn't know that you have a nav pod installed. I have one and speak from experience. It does have a direct effect on how much air comes thru since the vents are half the original size. I can provide pics it you like.

When you decrease the size of the opening and maintain the fan speed (CFM) it acts like putting your thumb on the end of a water hose to some extent therefore increasing the (FPM).

Chris.. did you get the clips completed? I bought the pod from you but haven't 'installed' it yet as I don't want to drill holes in my dash..

I can't say that I have noticed that with mine.

i taped a stack of cardboard strips above the vent thingy and now it fits snug without any drilling or clips.
