Wow, well done on the project thus far. Were you able to resolve the electrical questions?

Where did you get the metal foot plate on the passenger side foot well?
Foot plate is Carbing from Japan.
Electrical almost there. Have to figure it out with testing or get a side harness to swap out.
 
A great project with some nice personalisation … I really like the ‘it could be OEM’ approach for modifications … enjoy!
 
to my understanding, you need to add a control box (i know T3Tec and RFY have it)
Basically the control box has 4 wire (power in, ground, speed in, power out/ground out)

when speed signal >25 or 30km/h>activate the reverse solenoid in order to protect the reverse gear / avoid mis shifting to the reverse during moving to the front
 
A ghetto approach to the reverse lock out is to connect it to the brake pedal switch. If foot not on brake, then unable to shift into reverse.

The odds of foot on brake while shifting into 6th is [hopefully] unlikely.
