i'd think with the right gearing (his is a 92 of course..not a 97+) he cuold hit 200 with enuf HP... if the 97's can hit 170+ and then you tack on another 160hp to the wheels, i'd say 190's should be easy, assuming you have the cojones... some guy earlier took his CTSC on the autobahn to 190+... and that usually puts down, what, 350 to the wheels??
No way! We could only manage 188 with a high-boost (9 PSI)CTSC'ed '94. That was on an officially closed highway for one of the open road racing events. About 7,000 - 7,500 RPM in stock ratio 5th gear if memory serves. Wind resistance was the problem...not gearing. I believe the 190 claim, but not 200. The power required increases exponentially with speed.
