Well that is what I had . I have really been enjoying the drive home from Zurich....it is sad that it is wintertime here soon.

I will get numberplates soon on my car..but it will be parked for several months. I will put on some wintertires so I can cruise on good days during winter, but it will mostly be parked and well tucked in.

I hope you all enjoyed my little roadtrip log. I sure did.

I would like to thank Gheba for the car and also NSXPrime for all the info and the forum.. I have learned a lot and will ofcourse stay here for as long as I can.

Talk to you all soon..

Regards

Thanks..

Autobahn..it was difficult to drive very fast. I did once 270 km/h with 7000rpm. But it was too much traffic so I just cruised along at about 160 km/h most of the time.

I have a quicktime here somewhere of the 270km/h thing :D

Regards

Wow, thanks for showing all the great pictures! I'm glad you got home safely.

Thanks Martin! Very very very nice write-up... and kind of touchy for me (as Steve correctly pointed out)... I am very happy the car is in your hands since you are a very passionated enthusiast. And I am happy you reached home safely... but that 270kmh... :p ;)

A little less happy about the fact that I do not have it anymore, but you will know something about my future car in the next days! :D

One small note on the car cover: you can put it to fit perfectly over the wingwest front spoiler. It will completely fit the car... try again and post a photo.

That cover makes the car look SO NICE!

Good night, it has been very nice to meet you and whenever you are around Switzerland stop by!

Hi

I was just writing you a sms to let you know that I have posted pictures here and then I saw your reply here just before I sent it...

Yes some of the pictures were really nice. I was supposed to take some more pictures on the mountain pass, but I found nowhere to park that was not snowed in

I should have taken the camera with me when driving to the DOT...In downtown Zurich I saw so many nice cars. I was impressed about the higher standard on cars compared to Norway when we drove from the airport.

About the cover..okey so it fit all the way down? I did not dare to drag it all the way down there. Will go out and try when finished up here. Will take some pictures in daylight tomorrow. Yes the cover makes the NSX look really cool.

I could not believe it when we came down to the garage and I saw it for the first time with the cover on... how smooth and low it looked.. I think my bloodpressure went into Vtec area for sure in the garage :):)

About the 270...well I had to test the top speed in case I was once forced by some alien force to drive that fast :)

Around Narvik you can not go so fast. The roads here are very curvy and fun to drive. You do not have to drive that fast to enjoy yourself. I have always enjoyed riding my bike in curves and I get the same/better satisfaction driving with the NSX on the same roads.

When driving north I drove past a area called "Namsskogan" which has a lot of turns. It was a lot of fun. I had to stretch my jaw afterwards. I was smiling all the way.

We have been through a lot and I hope it works out with a new car for you! It was very nice meeting you too finally in person.

I did not get a chance to talk that much with Eva, but she seemed really nice. It looked like you had the same eye for quality not only in cars ;)

I will of course contact you if I am in Switzerland. Me and Jon have talked about driving once to Switzerland with the NSX's and join you on a Countrydrive.. That would have been a blast. Two swiss NSX's returning to their roots :)

It is not that far. If we get the cars by train to Oslo and then to Kiel by ferry we have only about 1300 kilometers to go. Driving all the way from Narvik and back is a bit far. But by train throug Sweden and to Oslo is a possabilety.

We have to look into something like that in the future. I would like to go with the X to something next summer. There will not be any tracktime with my bike next year, but it will be a car vacation. But the Switzerland plan is something that needs planning.

Good luck with your car project!

Say hello to Eva from me

Regards

Great Story and Photographs - thanks so much for sharing the experience!

I am sure i speak for more than one person when I say that reminds me of my post-purchase trip home with my NSX. Its a great feeling, isn't it?

Martin : Congratulation on your new car too. Happy to meet you at a CH countrydrive. :)

Giuseppe : Your NSX is in good hands, except at high speed :D

Smoore : My fog lights is still available ! (250$ + shipping)

Alex

Congratulations, Martin and welcome to the exclusive society of NSX-owners in Norway. There are currently 16-17 NSX-es in Norway, of them three in the Arctic part (midnightsun-area....)
Great story and pics.
:D :D
PS. The black one at the end of the story is mine.

Martin,

Congradulations!!!!

And thanks for sharing your wonderful story. Really thoughtful. :)

Hope you get to drive as often as you like.
