With a tune in it's current state, it should be over 300 whp. So it should run some mid to high 12s right when it gets here, so that's great. I have my eyes on a GT35R turbo kit from atpturbo. It's good for 600 crank hp on the stock engine, so I figure with 272/272 cams and methanol injection, I should be able to get 500 whp from this thing. Should be a monster, and the GT35 doesn't take too long to spool either, so it should be quite fun on a road course as well.

This thing weighs 100 pounds less than my old NSX, so it should be damn fast. It's going to be a handful in the snow though! They go around corners pretty good too, so I'm pretty sure I've found something I might keep for more than 4 months.

Congrats and outstanding choice! I've always been a fan of these cars and even test drove a 7 back in the day in Tokyo.

How did you find this car? Any tips? I might be interested in one in the future. Haha, maybe by the time you're ready to sell this one I might be interested.

Excellent, should be a blast!
Can't wait for my ride.
I'll wait for dry roads though.

You have to sit behind me and we will get Dan behind Ryan, that way the weight will be evenly distributed diagonally!!!

p.s. Ryan, check to see if that is a Toro 21" self propelled side bag in the dumpster. If so toss her in the trunk for me, you can't beat an aluminum decked Toro!

Nice ride Ryan, when do you expect it to show up?

I get car sick if I don't sit up front, especially during spirited driving. Hope the car is scotch guarded!

Hey Ryan,

Are you making a little money on each car you bring up? I have to think so because you're going through some pretty sweet rides. Do you know what you want to get before you sell the current car, or do you just sell it and start shopping?

Congrats on the Mits btw.

No, not even close. I bought the S2K at 23 grand at the height of summer and sold it for 18.5 grand in the winter. The market also crapped as well, as everyone knows. It was enough to pay off the loan I've had since I bought my NSX, and I just re-loaned the Evo. Yeah, payments suck, but it's nice having a nice car.

The Evolution MR features several handling- and ride-enhancing features: a lightweight aluminum roof panel (a first for a Japanese production model), designed to lower the center of gravity and reduce the roll moment; jointly developed Bilstein(R) monotube shock absorbers to improve road holding; and lightweight BBS(R) forged alloy wheels.

Hum, I wonder where the NSX was made? Korea?

Its beautiful Ryan.
Good job!
Can't wait for a ride!

Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are those tires in the residentials with awd????????????????

If there's snow on the ground where I'm driving, it's <10 km/h. They're awful. I got it into 4th gear at like 200 km/h while actually moving about 15.

Other than my actual street though, everything around me is plowed. They're holding up okay on that. They should be a good time in real conditions.

Cool ride. I'm sure it's a blast. How are those rides on high speed acceleration runs?

Is there 3M on rear fenders right in front of the rear wheels and back doors?

My friend's Evo X didn't have enough 3M back there and he has lots and I mean lots of rock chips there.

Very nice car Ryan, you have amazing taste!

I asked this on your other thread but didn't get an answer: was it a major pita to find and purchase this car? I've always like this body style and even test drove one in Japan (though it was an Evo 7 GTA -automatic model). If you ever decide to sell her please let me know!
