Hi everybody,

Here some pictures I took yesterday during my ride in the vineyards near Lausanne.

I thought that you might appreciate the splendid scenery.

Hi Tiger,

It's in the wineyards between Lausanne and Montreux (closer to Geneva than Zurich).

FYI, the water in the background is the Lake Léman also known as Lake of Geneva

Hi

Wow. nice pictures and nice car. :D

Regards

Count me in! BTW, how much does it cost to ship a car to Europe and then back?

Enzo, you live in a beautiful place! I remember a couple of years ago

I crossed over to Lugano from northern Italy and was amazed at how gorgeous the scenery was, how clean the roads were and how polite the drivers were.

I remember just standing on the side of the picturesque road along Lake Lugano admiring the view when I noticed that the traffic on both sides of the road had stopped as they thought I wanted to cross the road!! I had not intended to cross but when I saw the extreme courtesy and politeness of the drivers I crossed over to the other side anyway. Crossing back over was just the same:)

This was particularly shocking since I had spent a few weeks travelling across Italy and crossing the road on foot in Italy is RISKY business to say the least.

Thanks for the memories.;)

In Switzerland, if you intend to cross the road at a foot-passenger point you're have the right to cross it and any car has to give you that right. :) In Italy (Roma) foot-passenger seem to have no right at all. :(

Greetings,
Thomas

Beautiful! I stayed in Luasanne when I performed in the Montreaux Jazz Festival years ago. It is probably the most picturesque place I've ever been to. One thing I remember about the trip was that Hertz rented NSXes! Thanks for the great pics.

I say lets all go there for a weekend drive! :D
