Keyless entry. Sad, 1991- 2003 NSX did not come with keyless OEM. For that kind of money, it should be standard on the car. Even my 94 Z had OEM keyless entry.
What's worse is my 1999 Impreza has more options than the NSX. Such items being outside temperature display, barmoter display (kind of useless), power folding mirrors for parking and the previously mentioned heated seats. I wish they were at least options on the NSX.
I've compile a short list of some modern conveniences which I've taken for granted until I drive my NSX. As she slowly evolves into a dedicated track car, these features become almost irrelevant.
However, here's a list to demonstrate just how outdated she's become..
Factory Navigation (DVD-based, touch screen)
TPM (tire pressure monitors)
Push button start
Keyless Go
Heated & cool front seats (with massage)
BackUp Camera
Laser guided cruise control
Voice command/recognition (hot chick voice)
multi-function steering wheel
front/rear parking controls
self-lowering suspension
DVD entertainment package
XM, Sirrus, iPod integration
windshield wiper rain sensors
Other than that, she's still a keeper:wink: .
Yea like the Lexus IS350... they have the key fob you put in your pocket, and you never have to take it out!
Also another feature would be nice, which is like the Lexus,
Proximity keyless (RFID) - This would be so nice on the NSX!
When I had my lexus in the shop they'd give me an IS250 or IS350 as a loaner car. You'd never have to take the key fob out of your pocket. As you walk up to the car and put your fingers behind the door handle, doors unlock just before the door opens.... pretty nice feature.
When I'm in my NSX, I don't even use the air or radio... Windows down, top off, enjoying the tunes of my exhaust.
Being an old school guy and esp. in case of NSX. What if you want to make sure if the fob really locked it or even works after sometime? Go near to it then it unlocks....would be a funny video to shoot?
