My NSX and Mr. Olympia

For those of you that follow the bodybuilding scene at all, I got a rare chance today meeting Ronnie Coleman (current MR.O) at my gym.

He is a fan of the NSX, but he just sold his viper to take delivery of a 2003 model.

I normally park around the other side of the building where I can see the car at all times, but I just pulled in the front to be next to the Hummer for the pic.

Actualy what I find amusing is that bodybuilders automaticly pose whan a camera clicks.anyone else would stand and smile.But he is the tops in his field,so in that regard it would be like meeting Woods,Jordan,orHanks if your into that stuff.

Actually, he was just standing and smiling, I ASKED him to pose. Stereotypes are not always right you know..

Please don't take this as an offense,but why did you ask him to pose,in the first place. It was presumtuous for me to assume it was spontaneous.Either way he looks close to contest form,is he defending his mr "o" title soon?

No offense taken. I asked him to pose because I thought it would make a good picture. Same reason you would ask tiger woods to hit a driver at the range. I also have never seen arms that big! (24inch)

Right now he weighs around 315, but in contest shape he will diet down to around 260. So he is far from contest shape, but he sure is HUGE! He has won the title the past 3 years, and this year will be his biggest challenge yet as last year it was a very tight race.

I understand that bodybuilding is not for everyone, and most people don't understand why anyone would want to look like that, but please don't stereotype. Obviously there were a couple of people who enjoyed the photo and that is why I posted it.

If you are into bb then you to were in awe since he is in the eyes of the IFBB the ultimate physique on the planet.Ah,, and there is the nsx content ,I need'nt say more.

I would love to see a picture of him in your NSX.

He may have to rearange some panels to fit. Great Pic! Stick a picture of this in your window, it should work great to keep the thieves away.

He is HUGE! I saw him in Italy a couple years ago... at that time Dorian and Nasser were bigger but they lacked in some body part (forearms/calves for Dorian and back for Nasser). Ronnie was perfect!

NSX content: from time to time I train in the same gym were Jean Pierre Fux trains (he is Swiss but spends 50% of the time in the US, preparing for Mr.O in September too). I could ask him to pose near my NSX and we would already have one sixth of the 2003 NSX&BB calendar!

I don't think half of my jiujitsu submissions would even work on him... Not sure I could get my arms around his neck to do a choke... :biggrin: Anyway cool picture. He would definitely not fit in an NSX.

Not really Jin, all women want is a guy that is in decent shape. They are not looking for Mr. Olympia. They just don't want a tub of lard. They also don't care about the car that much as long as it's not an embarassing cluncker and it's clean. Guys spend a lot of time and money on their cars thinking it will be noticed by women. The only reason a woman might notice a car is because it may represent a wealthy man... they really aren't looking to see if you have a BBK or a Carbon Fiber wing. :biggrin:
