My new white Nsx Veilside supercharge

Excuse my quirky observations, but you better get that garage cleaned up so you can park that beauty inside!:biggrin:

Great looking ride. I know most will disagree, but I love the rear tail lights. I just don't know if I am ready to take the step to widebody, personally. Thanks for the pics, and as others have mentioned, post pics of the interior when you have a chance.

I take that back, it was just the angle. I love that kit though. VERY nice. Wish I could shell it out to get mine done...

I love the tail lights because it reminds me of one of my favorite cars.... Saleen S7 :) :)

The Veilside kit is pretty controversial here on Prime, it has a large crowd of nay-sayers on it, me included :frown:

But this particulair one is imho very, very nice.

THATS NOT A NSX ANY MORE looks more like a KIT CAR don't like it looks like you wanted a Saleen S7 but could not pay the $550,000 so you copied it!!! :(

Your right. It does look like a cheap copy of the Saleen S7 kit, now that you mention it. But the same could be said about the NSX...it looks like you wanted a Ferrari but could not pay the extra $$$. :tongue:

I personally like the VS Fortune kit and his car, especially how he put it together with white/black top. Looking forward to the interior pics.

Lol. Not really the same analogy. The NSX was a groundbreaking car that was later copied off of, it wasn't below Ferrari. A kit car is below a Saleen S7 (as are most real cars also, lol).

Anywho... I do agree that this really isn't an NSX anymore. I personally hate Veilside as a company. Their kits are destructive to the integrity of the real car designers. I think if you put pieces on your car it should enhance the car's lines, not rip them off and put your own on.

For me, it's the same as someone butchering typography.

On that note: Nothing against you dude. It seems the car fits your style, with your AB Supra. I applaud you for havin the balls to get what you want. Enjoy the ride :)

But isn't Veilside just interpreting what everyone here at prime wants? Well, to a point.

I mean everyone here loves the basis of what the NSX is and has been for years. A GREAT handling very reliable machine. What are the complaints? More power. What are the wants and wishes of current and future owners? A new designed "NSX" with more power.

So what has veilside done? Kept the SAME GREAT nsx handling and reliability of the car over all. And what has this owner done? Added MORE power and the veilside kit. So what was the end result? A more "modern" nsx with more power with the same great reliability and handling of the original.

Wouldn't it be a bitch if honda did something very similar and at the same time fullfilled the wishes of current and future owners?

Nice job on the kit, even though it takes away the natural nsexyness, it does add i high lvl of uniqueness. which is the main reason why i want an nsx, and why not have something o one else has on the street.....even though the nsx is rare enough, but when u roll up with that kit no one knows wat kind of car they're lookin at. Wish some of the people with the kit did some stuff diff, but i guess ill jus have to wait til get it and do it myself. can't wait till i make it look right:biggrin:
 
dont get me wrong guys i love the nsx when it first came out but then the nsx looks a little outdated now thats why i went and got this kit..i still love the nsx the way it look stock but its just to flat and not wide enough for me..plus i really like the headlights on this kit..when i was letting my friend drive the supra around and i was following him with my stock nsx nobody even notice me at all!!! so i had to do something about it..now nobody even notice the supra =/..and yes the headlights does come with a cover but veilside didnt sent it out with the kit so i'm waiting on that piece..what a bummer

i still update some engine shots tomorrow r monday...my car is about 4hrs away from me..the system is still not done yet sorry guys..
 
One question, are the headlights HID? I couldn't tell from the first couple of pics to the later ones. Looks good, IMO.

everybody got there own opinion so i dont mind what people say about my car ahha =)..my car was at the show including a saleen...sorry to say but they look nothing alike in person..maybe in picture it does tho..

no its not hid..i just order some hid so waiting on that ...when i got the nsx its was just stock green nsx with no supercharger on it are rims etc..so about 1 week later i install a supercharger, headers, carbon fiber intake scope that lays right next to the side vent and order the kit from veilside..while i was waiting for the kit i install tein flex coilover plus i had to pre order the rims so it can be custom made..so as u can see i was very busy thinking what to get for my car i totally 4got about the hid kit..lol
 
It looks like you put a lot of time and thought into it and it shows. Very exotic and sporty looking. I love the doors on the Supra, btw.
 
Hi nsx2tone, Your car looks sweet, I really like that kit in white.

Don't mind Zenky... He is known as a troll and doesn't even own an NSX. He has a 300z with a ricer wing on it.
