I was told it probably wouldnt fit but today I went to Lowes and bought a new hose. This thing was expensive as hell so Im glad I got to keep it.No other intake sounds as good as this one.Its unreal.

Thank's for the tip of trying to use your old intake. I just got the BBSC also the same weekend you did(saw your car there when I dropped mine off). I am now going to try and put my K&N back on. It is bigger than the one that is on the charger.
Do you know if when having the oil changed in the car now if the over flow tank has to be moved out of the way to get to cap?

Looks like that is a superior intake, as it ought to get more cold air and block the hot engine air. I don't think it will work with the upcoming aftercooler unit however. One of my little projects will be to get a cold air system setup like the K&N FIPK fabricated for the aftercooled BBSC. Something that blocks the hot engine compartment air like this:

BTW-Your email wasnt working.

I think a cold air would be a great addition.Ill have to wait till my name comes up for the aftercooler before I can help out on that.

What intake comes with the BBSC kit? The filter looks similar to the one used in the RM intake.

My BBSC will get installed in about 2 weeks. I am trying to figure out how to mate the BBSC intake with the Cantrell Concepts Air Induction system sold by science of speed. If I can do it, the combination should provide incredible air flow. I need to come up with something similar to the RM cold-air upgrade kit. I imagine that proper sized brackets and hose are all that is needed.

Has anyone done this yet?

Sweet!! You're getting the SC!! Where is he installing it at?? Now we REALLY get to see a head to head comparison with a SC NSX and a TT NSX.

Jason, I too was curious about using the
Cantrell in conjuntion. Especially since my aftercooler will be right there as well. From what I understand, the aftercooler requires a different blower and can not be added after the fact. This might just be the current aftercooler setup, I don't know. I have one coming w/my kit in about 2 weeks so we'll see then. I might be one of the first cars to be getting the aftercooler, again not sure. You guys know any of the details? Also, give us some impressions!

We will definately need to go out for a drive after the install, which will be in Raleigh. Jason Weaver and Roy E. have done much of the leg work putting it all together. Kudos. In addition we should have some pretty solid before and after dyno plots.

Jason,
The aftercooler can be added at any time. Its a self contained unit that would require you to swap out the front(snailshell) of your current S/C.(4 bolts)This ,however, would require the filter to be moved again. This aftercooler actually has a water pump that will circulate cool water from the front of the car to the to the supercharger.I know the radiator part mounts in the front facia but Im curious to see if it looks like a front mount air to air intercooler. That would look awesome.

Joe, Thanks for the clarification. Like I mentioned, I was not sure. That's good to hear. I am very excited to see what the car is gonna do. Everyone seems to be pleased so far. Hopefully we will see some more updates coming! Gonna be a long 2 weeks! Talk to you guys soon!
