Haven't done this in a while...

If I had a 10-car garage, here's how I'd fill it up (in no particular order... well, NSX would be the first car in there):

Nissan Titan (Towing, Hauling, etc)
Porsche Turbo (997)
Ferrari 360 Spider
Lexus SC 300 (5-speed) w/Supra TT Engine Swap
Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) (If I could make it LHD, then even better)
Infiniti G37 Coupe
Ferrari 575M
2008 V6 Accord Coupe (Grocery Getter)
BMW M3 (E46) Convertible (Her Daily)
NSX (SOS 3.8L) (His Daily)

I feel like there should be one more "practical" car in there for family outings like camping or whatever... maybe a Subaru Forester or something like that.

(I was going to post pictures of all of them cause that would be cool, but the internet is running a bit slower than I have the patience to deal with at the moment... maybe I'll edit them in later).

If you have a garage of 10 cars, they should be collectible, intended as appreciating assets, as there is no other reason for a collection of that size.

Looking at your list, there is a lot of overlap, and swapped cars are not collectible. If you actually had this garage, you have a pair of daily drivers, so whats the point of a G37? As a fun car, when you have an exotic daily driver?

You have a pickup, a sportscar, a convertible exotic, a hacked up tuner car, a hacked up tuner car, a big Nissan GT, a Ferrari GT, a cheap sedan, then you have a convertible sportscar, and another sportscar.

The Accord has no purpose, the G37/575 are both non-daily GT's, the 997 and NSX play the same role, the skyline and soarer lost any collectible value when you swapped a motor, and converted to LHD, basically, its a very confusing list.

Better to have a sportscar, an exotic sportscar, a luxury sedan, and a vehicle for moving items in, such as an SUV or pickup truck. You don't need a daily driver with 2+ cars, as the vehicles will see such limited driving time as it is. If you have 10 cars, and 1 is your daily, you have 9 weekend cars, one of which is a pickup, and another is a Honda accord? How much seat time will these get?

This is a common, and fun, exercise, but the garage should be based on some degree of justification, shouldn't it?

Anyway, here would be my (smaller) list:
-Acura NSX (current)
-Lamborghini Diablo 6.0
-VW Phaeton W12
-VW Microbus

The sedan and nsx would take up daily driving duties, depending on mood, and the diablo would be ready to go when there is an urge (and would be supplemented by the nsx when it breaks), with the microbus used for picking up groceries, buying lumber at home depot, etc. - all cars would see regular use, in this situation.

Well, you know...

Usually when I "think" about what cars I would actually buy, the list is about 5 cars long.

It usually looks like this:

NSX
M3
Titan
Accord
Porsche

I just made it 10 this time because there are other cars I wouldn't mind owning, and would probably buy if a) I had the money and/or b) I couldn't get certain others.

I like the Accord because it meets certain standards that I have for less money than other cars that meet those standards.

McLaren F1
F40
Original GT40
NSX-R
NSX with TODA 3.5/ITB
BMW M1
R34 Skyline GTR Spec V

That's good enough for me. I'm sure if I can afford all those, I'll have no problem afford other cars.

If money is not limited:

1. 02+ NSX. (To show people Japan can also make a supercar)
2. Pagani Zonda spyder (For its extreme look and sound)
3. F430 spyder (A daily driver)
4. Lamborghini Gallardo spyder (For its sound)
5. RR Phantom (Family houler)
6. Hummer H2 (All Teraine Vehicle)
7. Audi R8 V12 Diesel
8. Bat Tank (For Halloween)
9. Ice Cream Truck
10. Golf Cart

Audi S8 D3
Pagani Zonda F Clubsport for sunny days
Ferrari 430 Scuderia for track
RUF R Turbo for trashing (and winter)
Aston Martin DB9 Kahn for cruising

Need no more.

NSX-R
JDM ITR (Built track rat)
1968 Camaro
F 430
Evo (for the love of turbo)
Wrangler (fourwheeler)
4Runner (daily)

Mine wouldn't be 10:

We Have:

97 NSX
99 M3 w/500rwhp
06 Range Rover Supercharged
03 S600 Sport (Twin Turbo V12)
04 RX330
01 Acura TL
04 Dakota Quad v8 4x4

What I'd Want:
02+ NSX
08 Nissan R35 GT-R V-Spec (Replace M3)
10 Mercedes GL400CDI Diesel/Hybrid w/30MPG (Replace Range Rover Supercharged)
06+ Bentley Continental Flying Spur (Replace the S600)
10 Acura MDX w/ Diesel & Ent/Sport/Tech (Replace RX330)
10 Dodge Dakota w/ Cummins V6 Diesel Quad Cab 4x4 (Replace 04 Dakota)

Sell The Rest :)

I'll take the pick of Benny Caiola's stable... with some upgrades. The cars in my Avatar are a good start :)

If they have to be unique:

1) Pagani Zonda R
2) McLaren F1 LM (homologation special)
3) Porsche Carrera GT
4) Lamborghini Miura SV - this one has enough "soul" for 10 cars :D
5) Ferrari FXX (or Maser MC12)
6) Mercedes CLK-GTR
7) Honda NSX GTR (JGTC homologation special)

Daily Drivers:
8) Audi R8 TDI V12 - daily driver
9) Pinzgauer 712K with "Arnold power-pack upgrades" (grocery getter and urban assault vehicle)
10) Lamborghini LMA002 - SUV for the "badge snob" set

And the track car
11) Audi R10 TDI (will settle for the R8 LMP car, or the more pedestrian Ferrari 333SP)

Fav Five...
- NSX (Daily/Current)
- '03 Audi Pikes Peak (Gotta love the baby blue)
- Ferrari Enzo #400 (Need I say more?)
- 1969 Chevrolet Yenko Camaro (Respect the classics)
- Bugatti Veyron (Fun Car)

Here's the garage that I am working up to. This isn't a "dream" garage but a vehicle list like this would fulfill my every driving need and desire.

Challenge Stradale - my favorite collectible driver's car- can be used fairly frequently, beautiful to look at, and fun to drive

CGT - rarely driven collectible driver's car- a little scary to drive but an engineering masterpiece

Mercedes AMG 4 door like a CLS - daily driver and good for going out when you want to be a little low key

Pilot or other "beater" class - for quick errands when you don't want to care about where you park or when you have to load the car up with stuff. Also great for staying very low key.

430 or current V8 Ferrari - weekend car - gets driven more often than the collectible cars so you can keep the miles off of them - can be used as a going out car as well when you just have one passenger. Good for going on drives with others since you don't worry as much about rock chips and mileage.

Murcielago - for showing off and ridiculous exotic car attention- best car for picking up chicks. Wouldn't be as much of a driver's car as the V8 Ferrari.

Maserati Gran Turismo S - daily driving and for going out when you don't want to be low key and you have to carry more than one person. Could be interchanged with the Aston Martin Vantage if you want a stick shift car in your collection.

1.) Pagani Zonda F
2.) Ferrari 288 GTO
3.) Ferrari Enzo FXX
4.) Ferrari F40
5.) Lambo Mercielago
6.) 02+ NSX-R(Real one)
7.) Bugatti Veyron
8.) Carrera GT
9.) 02 Mercedes CLK GTR Super Sport
10.) Maserati MC12 Corse

The list could go on but those are the 10 I can think of right now..

My dream garage would only consist of 6 vehicles:
C63 AMG- Daily driver/beater
Cayenne Turbo- Grocery/Home Depot Hauler
F131- For scaring the hell out of myself

non-car
HM1100- daily/ around town ride
Triumph Rocket III- For long trips
D16RR- for scaring the holy shit out of other Enzo owners

These are the first ones that pop into my head....
1.NSX (ok, so I have one!)
2.McLaren F1 (no need to explain)
3.F40 (so raw and awesome)
4.Porsche 930 (always loved this body style 911)
5.Datsun 240Z (the OG of jap sports cars.)
6.BMW M5 (for everyday kicking ass)
7.Ferrari 360 (still like it more than the 430)
8.Honda Prelude (4th gen, I used to have a 92....still miss it.)
9.AMG S55 (you know...just for long road trips)
10.1971 Corvette Stingray (always had a love for the older stingrays.)

I already have two of my ten-car dream garage.

1. Sebring Silver NA1 NSX Coupe
2. 1988 BMW M5

Beyond that and in no particular order, these are the cars (within reason) I hope to own some day:

3. 911 Turbo (964/993/996)
4. Superformance Daytona Coupe
5. BMW 850 csi
6. BMW 3.0 CSL
7. Jaguar E-Type Coupe Series 1
8. Audi R8
9. Acura NSX Zanardi
10. Acura NSX 2002+

I would not limit it to ten:

11. Aston Martin V8 Vantage
12. Noble M12/M400
13. BMW M1
14. BMW M6
15. Mercedes Benz 560 SEC AMG
16. Porsche 928 GT/GTS
17. Porsche 996 GT3
18. Porsche 964 RS America
19. Porsche 356 Coupe
20. Beck 550 RS Spyder
21. Ferrari 512 TR
22. Ferrari 360 Modena
23. Jaguar XJ6 350/6spd. Conv.
24. Mercedes Benz 450 SEL 6.9

F40, F50, and an NSX to drive when they are both broken down. LS600h if I need to take other people with me. I'd add a couple motorcycles to that and that's about it. Any other cars like AM's, Zonda's, whatever I would just want to experience then get rid of most likely. I do not have dream cars though, just cars I may or may not choose to purchase in the future.

Realistic affordable garage:

4 cars is more than plenty for me. One Sports car, one super car killer with back seats, one luxury convertible, and one nice family hauler. I have no desire for anything else at my current state of mind.

NSX modded to my liking (current)
Audi Q7 (8 seat family hauler)
R35 GTR
SL55 (used)

Fantasy garage (not likely, but never say never, these are the next step from the realistic garage, with effort, right choices, and a little luck. I believe anyone can do it、やればできる!!)

NSX-R (LHD supercharged or Lovefab turbo)
360 Challenge Stradale
F430 scuderia
R34 GTR Z-Tuned

Ultra fantasy:
none, I don't want cars that will ruin the driving experience of my other cars.

I think having both the Challenge Stradale AND the 430 Scuderia would be a bit redundant. Both cars are built for the same purpose.

I would add a real NSX-R to my list. I didn't think about that one.

If money is not limited:

1. 02+ NSX. (To show people Japan can also make a supercar)
2. Pagani Zonda spyder (For its extreme look and sound)
3. F430 spyder (A daily driver)
4. Lamborghini Gallardo spyder (For its sound)
5. RR Phantom (Family houler)
6. Hummer H2 (All Teraine Vehicle)
7. Audi R8 V12 Diesel
8. Bat Tank (For Halloween)
9. Ice Cream Truck
10. Golf Cart

Ditto on the Ice Cream truck! I'd rather have a tasty treat than ride in a F40 all day.
