How's the front bumper holding up?

Any issues with law enforcement?

Everything is holding up great. Haven't had any problems with law enforcement at all and within the pass year I've lived in Washington, California and Texas. I have the l.e.d.'s on every time I drive also. It attracts the attention I want from fellow motorist, which keeps them from side swiping my ass. Out of all the states Texas is the worst for drivers. Keeps me from taking my car anywhere.

Wow, going on 2 years now. Front bumper is still 100 perfect as the day I received it, I'm still very happy I went the OEM route. LEDs from oznium still running perfect and bright.

P.S. Where's my royalties s4play

Just saw this thread for the first time. Very cool. Looking at how cheap those LED's are, it seems like a no brainer to put some on. How hard was it to wire up?

I put LED's in my kitchen and I needed a big transformer to run them.

It wasn't for me because I had cut up my front fender marker harness already when I put leds in them, so the front leds wired right up. I connected them to the front side marker because with the bumper conversion I no longer had a turn signal and felt this would be different at the time and easy to do. I wired them up in less then 30 minutes. For everyone else you can easily use these, Quick Splice Connector, to splice into your factory harness.

Added 02 side skirts and rear valence

pretty much done with the exterior, except for little things here and there and nsx-r hood

i think its beautiful and completes the look. LOVE the updated bumper on the pop ups.

i would think that there would be a demand for an oem looking aftermarket front bumper that would update the styling for the pre 2002 nsxs. so many of the pre 2002s have 02+ side and rear valences anyways, this would complete the look imho for those who dont want to go thru the time/cost for the full 02+ conversion.

Thanks, need them for my turn signals though.

The mode4 bumper offered this............

thank you.

imo i think moses did it right by not installing the oem turn signals of the older bumper and cheesing them out. the mode4 pictures i found online made the front bumper look very..... aftermarket.

the inclusion of the older turn signals + the lines of the 02+ front bumper vents simply don't line up and look tacky imho.

from my research they are no longer offered

Agreed.

I had the mode 4 bumper, but wasn't happy with quality so I returned it. It was the easiest way to get that look, but I wanted a OEM quality piece so I went with the OEM 02+ bumper and customized it to my liking. Once I have time I'm going to change up the l.e.d. a little different.

Is there a thread explaining how it was done??
