Is this one of EVO's new 02 style bumpers?

Any issues with the install please?

Nice to see this one well fitted as previous examples have looked rushed. IMO, your NSX would look better with 'lighter' color rims.

regards, Paul

No not the mode4 bumper. Factory oem bumper that i had custom fitted for the 91-02 flip up headlights. I wanted an oem quality bumper and the fact that the oem one is a three piece design instead of a one piece makes me feel a lot better knowing certain pieces can be replaced easily.

I've been wanting this look for years, but it has been reported that it does not work. Can you please give us the details of the modifications? At least what if anything is done right at the headlights? I know i'd be very grateful. It looks great! Good work!

custom bumper my bodyshop made for me, consist of 02+ bumper with 91-01 bumper molded in at the headlight meeting point

The use of the front modified bumper makes your front end look odd. Mainly because of the turn signal lights usually housed in the earlier models. That area leaves it very plain and large. I can see why the style for the newer models incorporated fixed headlights.

maybe it looks different/better with the lights popped up?

If you get a chance to see this car in person, you won't have any doubts.

Pictures don't really capture how well the whole thing comes together.

It looks fantastic from every angle.

thanks doc.

here's another random picture from my cell phone. it might also look "weird" because I don't have the front emblem on. Like I said there's still a lot more that needs to be done. I'm sure if I lower it and put some different wheels on it and maybe 02+ side skirts and rear diffusser, some opinions would be different; but I'm still very very happy with the way my front bumper came out.

I like it, just dont like how visable the LEDs are. If you could build the turn signals into the bumper that would look badass IMO.

Props on the work though!

Wierd and odd are based on your frame of reference as being the stock slightly ugly configuation. I think it's the best looking NSX front end I've seen in my 15 years a ownership. Pop-ups live on!

I think it looks better with less visible LED turn signals. Maybe if it had a single horizontal bar of LEDs along the top of each condensor opening, rather than the "L" shape bent version?

With just a quick glance, it reminds me of a '91 MR2 / Pontiac Fiero lovechild.

Props for doing something different!

could've mounted them horizontally, but I wanted to be different. I knew first reaction for most people would have been to mount them horizontally  really not that noticable unless they are powered on or your staring at the front bumper

here's a pic from a distance (thanks velveeta)

Where did you get the led strips? I also would have gone with a horizontal only installation. Looks good btw.
