multi color convertible nsx at Paris Hotel & Casino in LV

Someone wasn't thinking when they sawed the top off that car. That would adversely affect the structural integrity of the vehicle. Not to mention negatively altering the handling characteristics, due to a drastic reduction in chassis stiffness. The car could always be repainted or changed cosmetically, but there is no coming back from this. Too bad they had to do this to a hand-made limited production work-of-art like the NSX.

What if the car started out as a NSX-T??

Nonetheless... I'm sure structural rigidity was the furthest thing from their mind. I hardly think we'll ever see this car anywhere near a track.

Not having the roll bar connecting the sides of the car at an additional point, would probably contribute to chassis flex.

There was an NSX up here in Ottawa that suffered the same fate. Or perhaps it is the same car. It was red with a brown top at the time - this was at least ten years ago now. I talked with one of the mechanics at the local Acura dealership (Camco) and he said there had been extensive reinforcements done (in aluminum) underneath the car. Then the owner went and ran over something like a mancover cover that was sticking up just a bit too high and ripped all the reinforcements off! That was the last I'd heard of it. I do recall thinking the top looked really cheap. Apparently the car had been shipped off to Newport Beach for the work.

I would definitely take that car and repaint it, like yellow and drive the shit out of it around town.
Can you guys in Vegas please find the owner and get some info on it.
It can't be that hard, or maybe it can since I could never talk to the owner of the mysterious black unit in the parkade here in Edmonton.
If I come down to Vegas this spring, I will hunt that baby down.

That would be awesome if pimp me took that convertible.
Yes, that nsx was moved and I just gave up after years.

Yep, I had Vin, owners name, address and what not.
He never responded, never could get to him, so, just gave up.
