Good times guys. It was great seeing everyone. By the way, thanks to John and Calvin for planning the route for us. That sat nav was a lifesaver.
Oh, that was my first time going to Malibu. What a beautiful place.
Stay posted guys.... I'm putting together a cruise/ dinner/night-clubbing at the newly renovated Morongo Casino in Palm Springs. This will be scheduled for the first or second weekend of May.
Wow, that was fun. Cool guys, cool cars, and the weather was great. The F cars and Lambos showing up at the same parking lot was an added bonus. Did you guys hear that green Gallardo when he first came to a stop just before turning into the parking lot? Unreal!@!! I've never heard an exhaust like that on any street car before...insane! Yesterday was the first day I'd ever driven my car through the canyons; man, my neck was killing me on the way home. I definitely need to do some more driving and get my neck muscles up to speed. Thanks William for suggesting that we all meet in Calabasas, I had a great time. Cya guys April 15th.
P.S. I was driving behind the red Ferrari for about 25 minutes going through Topanga Cyn. I was paying so much attention to his exhaust and listening to him downshift that I almost lost it. Be careful what you wish for and pay attention to what you're doing.
First of all thanks to William for all of his efforts with this event. It was a total success. I also like to give a big thanks to William and his co-pilot for helping me after my incident with a unfriendly rock, and to Gene for lending me his spare tire. I had a blast. For those that are interested the rim is repairable.
