Hi,
I've to sell 3 bottles of Mugen MT105 Oil Treatment purchased directly from Tokyo
Description:
Prevents mechanical loss of engine power and reduces mechanical noise.
Even with racing engines built with highly precise components, moving parts such as valves and pistons cannot escape from friction loss. Molybdenum, which is a major ingredient of MT105, quickly penetrates into the metal friction surface. This makes a smooth metal surface by forming a strong lubricating layer, which in turn reduces friction resistance and minimizes loss of engine power. By holding the increase of metal surface friction temperature it stabilizes oil temperature, reduces metal friction noise, and improves engine durability.
Lubrication film formed by MT105 provides a continuous performance and also improves fuel economy. The chart above indicates the result of measurements taken on the negative pressure changes inside the intake port during a constant idling speed of 760rpm of a 2.2 liter SOHC engine before and after MT105 was added. After 2 to 3 minutes of adding MT105, the pressure is decreased 11mmHg and stabilizes. This indicates that MT105 quickly forms a lubricating film on the engine’s friction surfaces to reduce the friction loss and consumes less fuel during idling and produces less pressure change. This lowering of pressure shows a 1.4% improvement in fuel economy in terms of fuel consumption.
MT105 penetrates into metal surfaces, forms a strong and long-lasting protective film, protects the metal friction surface, prevents wear, and not only improves engine durability but also contributes to a longer engine life. The chart above shows the result of measurements made on the barrel surface section of a piston ring (where it contacts with cylinder bore surface) after a durability test on engine dynamometer. The pictures indicate the surface taken with an electronic microscope (magnified 1,000 times). The chart that used MT105 shows no friction wear and the surface is clean. The section shows no change from the condition before the test. On the other hand, the chart that did not use MT105 shows the surface worn out of about 3µm and clearly shows a number of the worn out grooves. Observing these results, it proves that MT105 protects the metal surface and lowers friction.
