Yep, I'm going to be saying goodbye to my beloved Albuquerque and moving to Tucson sometime this year. I'm looking forward to getting to know the area NSXers. Up here in ABQ, I have been very active with getting the NSX community together, and hope to continue the tradition when I get down there.
Anyways, I need to start looking for a place to live down there, and was wondering if anyone could help me in finding an area to live in. Right now, I have a really nice 2800sf custom house with all of the upgrades I could ask for (Wolf/Sub Zero, granite, travertine, vessel sinks, giant windows, awesome view, and gigantic 3-car garage). While I know that my money probably won't buy me the same house down there, I'd like to find something as close to what I have as possible with about a 350-425k budget. I'm thinking that the NW part of town would be the best as well, due to it's proximity to Phoenix, newness, and relative lack of crime, but that's just my initial judgment after some internet research. I love the outdoors, hiking, road cycling, and am working on starting a family with my wife. I'm going to be working out at Tucson International Airport, and I'm okay with up to about a 45-minute commute. I don't mind rural living per se, but I don't want to be so far out in the sticks that I'm far from shopping and the amenities that Tucson has to offer, as well as having to drive on any dirt roads with my NSX. Closer would be better, I guess.
Any help would be appreciated!
