This batch of photos is all on the drive from the first meet up point to the second one, over Ortega Highway.

I wished I could have taken photos on the south grade up to Mount Palomar, but it was super tight and curvy. The trees were gorgeous with fall colors.

Great pictures everyone! Love the candids too.
Thanks for loading the videos, Dustin.
Keep 'em coming! :)

Looks like you guys picked a great weekend last week to have this drive. The upcoming storm this weekend could dump up to a foot of snow in the mountains by Saturday, with the snow line dropping to 3,500, which is lower than Julian.

If anyone is planning on driving the route again soon, you may want to wait a bit for any leftover snow to burn off.

Hey, Les. When are you or Irene going to post the photo of the women group taken at Mt. Palomar? :)

patty, they're all posted above? oh oh you mean the other better halves and not the nsx's :biggrin:

You guys all looked good on the road!!!! Passed everybody going the opposite direction while on a ride with some friends heading down from Julian on my Aprilia. Very impressive sight to see all those NSXs!

Thank you, Nemo.

Looks like you guys had a Blast! Great Drive, Great NSX's
and Great Pics! I miss SoCal at times:) Especially Ortega!

Ugh, that sucks. I was just driving out there two weeks ago thinking that might be the closest thing to the ol' Palomar drives that I used to join in on from San Diego.

It's a treat to drive Palomar ~ I've yet to find anything like it on the East coast. Palomar is even better than Tail of the Dragon.

I think the road conditions of Palamar are a lot better. I drove the Dragon in my S2000 a few times on my way from So Cal to Wintergreen, Virgina.

^May 2007. Me and Jim. He drove from Texas and we drove a few days together to Virginia for the Vintage Owners Spring Fling. (Vintage: Over 40 year-old S2000 owners.)

^The scenery is sure prettier there, than in So Cal. May 2007, of Jim (S1997 on S2ki.com).
