Motoring J Style Show in July

Well, I *was* going to go but just realized a couple of weeks ago that I have vacation scheduled that week(end). Everyone else, have fun!

Larry, I'll pm you my phone # and we can try and coordinate something. Are we just going to go and park outside of the event or are there other options? I just dunno, I never been to one of their events.
As far as I know, this is a first time event... But let me know where you guys decide to hook up... who knows, we might get some straglers to join us!!! :biggrin:

If there is no coral parking, I might not go.
Well, I talked (Friday 7/20) to one of the coordinators of the Motoring J Style (Howard Swig) and he told me that there were still coral parking if we get our money together and Paypal the payment in and fax in or use the online registration forms. Howard also said he can get us in at the pre 1985 cars rate ($30.00 per car). However, I will have to try and confirm this tomorrow or Monday. So saying if we can still get in and have coral parking who is in? We need to act fast if we want to get in and park together. I will post any registration and payment information as I get it, so please check this thread for any updates.

Ok, I just talked to Howard Swig this morning and asked about going in as spectators. He mentioned there will be no actually coral (coordinated) setup for spectator parking, but we can still go in together and park together at the spectator parking lot. He also said that the spectator parking lot is just as good as the parking lot for people showing their cars to be judged. With that being said, Ron and Tom....are you guys still up for this? If you guys are, where do you want to meet?

Ron, do you want to meet up and drive down together? I think Tom will just meet us there since he's already in the east bay. PM me with your phone # and we'll coordinate something if you want to drive down together.

Let me clarify a few things that are evidently a little unclear about the show.
There is only one parking lot outside the show, intended for spectator/general public parking.
If some of you would like to officially register your cars for the show, fill out a registration form for each of your cars on our website - www.motoringjstyle.com. You may PayPal an entry fee of $30.00 to [email protected] You would all be able to park next to one another on the lawn.
For those of you who want to attend solely as spectators, tickets are $15/head. However, registered entrants will receive 5 complimentary tickets at Will Call (since it is too late to mail anything now.) I suppose these tickets could be passed around to people on this board to avoid paying yourselves, assuming most of you know each other.
