Motor swaps on an NSX

why would you go with a bad engine into a car that can have a better built rotary engine in it. Take the money from the swap and build the engine you have. If you want info on a great shop let me know. They are located in baltimore. Great work and know their nissans and mazdas as well as supras.

I have one good reason........ Apex seals :(

I hear you on the crx. I should of kept mine. Eventually i will get another one.

The apex seals are easy to replace. then to do the head gasket. Plus if it does blow a seal the engine will still be good. turbos might need a rebuild kit but the engine will be good after you put new seals in. Were if you blow a head gasket. You are more likely to do more damage to the black and head. will be expensive to fix then it would cost a turbo rebuilt and changing the seal.

I guess we all look at it diff.

My RX7 has a ported 13BTT. Fresh rebuilt with 2k on it. The FD with a 2JZ was meant for a shell, but it was sold due to my goal of purchasing a NSX by late 10 or early 11.
