I don't know of any NSX owners that drive the way he discribes. I doubt he has ever driven one. And how many people really ever get behind or even see one in their lifetime on the road. Hell until I owned one I only saw maybe two or three before that in 22 years. I've been behind thousands of Corvettes that drive how he discribes us NSX owners.
He talks about the Firebird's loudness? I never thought they were all that loud. Now if he said Ford Mustage, I could understand. 95% of them come from the factory breaking windows with that glorious and very distinctive sound.
I agree with his sentements about the Insight and Prius. But, I look at it as a matter of different perspective of how to drive from point A to B. While, we like to get to point B fast in the curviest route possible regardless of distance or gas mileage, the "green" cars want to eek out every MPG possible from their over priced cars on the shortest route regardless of how much time it takes to get there.
I would have added to the list, the Dodge Neon. All of those beat up, paint faded cars with a fart can and every stick on piece of plastic bling from J.C. Whitney that try to sound like they are going 80 MPH but are only doing 60 because that is about as fast as they can go. I did enjoy the article though. Thanks for sharing.
