Quantum dampers, I am sure they are great but won’t lend themselves to road and track use that I intend

Why not? If the spring rates are too high, I would swap those out first, which is far less expensive than change of the suspension entirely. If u I don't like the valving, then you can always sell the suspension and keep your new springs for the new dampers.
