Hey guys time to get a little braver!

We have a special NSX Club track day booked for June 24th - we'll need commitments FAST.

This is at the Driver Development Track (which has no walls to hit, lots of grass if you're silly) It is WAY WAY better than Cayuga and, unlike Cayuga, will actually test and teach you something.

This day will only have 12 cars, so you will spend tons of time on the track. You will have an instructor in your car the whole time (unless you get signed off) and therefor you will will LEARN and BE SAFE.

You will NOT do excessive wear to your car and you WILL have an ear to ear smile the whole time - I promise.

The day will cost you $250 and some ego, not a new set of tires, or a bottle of Zymol.

Guys, you gotta stop talking about how fast your car is and how well it grips and rides without ever taking it somewhere safe to drive fast and really find out.

If we can get 21 cars to a show and shine lets see if we can get 5 to a track day!

Questions? Worries? Fears? Call me! 416 258-8527 or Call Dave, or Call Sean

Yeah, if you have time to sit around and talk smack in a parking lot, you've got time for this.

For all you weiners out there, dust doesnt settle on your car while you're driving it!

Man, I wanna be there! But my #$@%$^^&!! car will be in the paintshop! Will an automatic IS300 work there with all you lowslungers?

Great choice of car! When you're learning shifting is one more thing to master, better to focus on driving the line s-m-o-o-t-h-l-y.

I'm gonna be racing that weekend so I'll probably stay near the track, when I figure out which hotel I'll pass it on to you so we can hang out (assuming you'll be in Sat night)

12 cars are non NSX cars allowed?

John

I have 6 non-NSXs ready to commit since I KNOW we won't be able to get 12 NSXers to overcome their fear of "something might happen to my baby" even though it is baseless (on this track)

The only thing that will happen to an NSX is that the driver will become a safer and faster driver, thereby adding 50hp and cutting stopping distances by 25 feet from 70mph.

That's a hell of a modification to the car!

I might slap my stock rims on and burn off the last of the tread.

If you bring the Gixxer - I'll bring the R6's and you can get some early "instruction" for Calabogie.

Hey Red, I'm very interested in going. Can you please send me the details?

Thanks,
Derick...

Don't think we can support bikes - I'll check but its a different liability situation and we won't have an ambulance - but what a great opportunity to try out your NSXs! Geko, we can get Daria to be your instructor, he used to track his nsx before he decided to race against me:wink:, and he used to race motorcycles, could be a neat day!

Sorry Red, I'd love to be there but I can't get out of the Queen's Plate commitment. :frown:

So whats the deal with this?

Is it on? Who's going?

12 people MAX, we have 10 right now, I'm not sure any NSXs are coming, even though we planned it as an NSX event - I'm glad we decided to invite our friends and family since the NSXers are too worred about their paint and shine to actually learn to drive their cars.

what time is this event going to start and end
i have an evening Shannovillie event starts @ 6:30pm the same day

Could I come watch? What time does it start? Please post driving directions from west of TO. Thanks.

Ray
