I have searched the DIYs, anyone know if there is one for after market steering wheel install? Bought a wheel and hub from evof575gtc , but did not get install instructions. Any help would be appreciated.

Charley, you are a LIFESAVER. Many of us have been asking for this information for years now and no one gives us an answer. Well other than "If was prewired by EVO**** when I bought it from him".

Here is some information I dug up since the link got taken down.

Some pics and some links. They're not as good as the EVO link but this should help out alot

I was curious if there are legal implications of disabling a safety device in your car (removing the airbag to put in a racing wheel)?

Maybe when you sell it you should disclose that the airbag was disabled.

Not sure if insurance gives discounts for ABs or not, but if they do, they'd be interested in knowing.

Thanks for the help. I had to re-wire the buttons as the wires were smashed when I tightened everything down. Not sure why the buttons have 4 prongs on the back and wires coming from them that do nothing, but I wired it up with better and less wiring. I also filed down the top side of the ring to allow more room for the wire to slide in. Other than that, everything seems to work well now.

just wondering..... I have the momo steering installed but have problems with the horn botton. anyone know how I can hook it up correctly for it to work?

I would use these instructions depending what set up your using: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65255&highlight=install+steering+wheel

I installed mine last week. Finally got some pics of it. The wiring of the horn could be tricky, but very simple.

Notice the footwell LED brightlight. No more yellowish lights in my interior.

The "H" horn button is Red, my camera is not the greatest.

This last picture is the view that I have while driving the car. Pretty good view of all gauges.

It may not be safe, but it sure makes a big difference on steering and handling. It was well worth it.
