Manufacturing Process:

Forged aluminum wheels are a popular choice among car enthusiasts and manufacturers alike due to their strength, light weight, and durability. The manufacturing process of forged aluminum wheels involves shaping and molding raw aluminum into the desired wheel design. This process is typically done using a high-pressure, high-temperature forging process.

One of the key benefits of forged aluminum wheels is their strength and durability. Unlike cast aluminum wheels, which are made by pouring molten aluminum into a mold, forged aluminum wheels are made by shaping and molding the raw aluminum under high pressure. This process results in a stronger, more durable wheel that can better withstand the forces of driving and racing.

In addition to their strength and durability, forged aluminum wheels are also more sustainable than their cast counterparts. Forged aluminum wheels are made from a single piece of aluminum, which reduces the amount of material waste compared to cast wheels. Additionally, the high-pressure, high-temperature forging process used to create forged aluminum wheels is more energy-efficient than the casting process used for cast wheels.

Over the past decade, advancements in technology have helped to improve the manufacturing process of forged aluminum wheels. Computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technology have made it possible to create more intricate and precise designs for forged aluminum wheels, while also reducing the amount of material waste. Additionally, newer forging presses and other manufacturing equipment have increased the speed and efficiency of the forging process, further reducing energy consumption.

In conclusion, forged aluminum wheels are a popular choice among car enthusiasts and manufacturers due to their strength, light weight, and durability. The high-pressure, high-temperature forging process used to create forged aluminum wheels is more energy-efficient than the casting process used for cast wheels, and it has been improved over the past decade with the use of technology like CAD and CAM. This allows for more intricate and precise designs, while also reducing material waste and energy consumption

MITA Motorsports is committed to crafting products that meet the highest standards, pushing the boundaries of design and performance. Today, we introduce the redesigned 02 wheel—refined, improved, and built for enthusiasts who demand true craftsmanship.

Every aspect of the MITA 02 wheel has been meticulously fine-tuned to stay true to the original OEM design while enhancing functionality for big brake kits (BBK). Every spoke, every curve, and every detail has been perfected—nothing lost, only improved.

We’ve refined the 02 wheel to feature a true OEM ball-seated lug nut design. Previously, we used tapered lug nuts, but to stay true to the original vision, we made the change—because the details matter.

We’ve streamlined the color options to focus on three timeless finishes: Championship White, Washi Grey Metallic, and BMW Asahi Silver. Designed to complement your vehicle effortlessly, these shades pair versatility with precision engineering. And for those prioritizing performance, the 02 wheel remains the lightest in its class.

For an added touch of exclusivity, we now offer the NSX-R logo option across all color choices—a subtle tribute to a legend. Additionally, the recessed etchings have been repositioned for a seamless alignment across our entire wheel lineup.

At MITA Motorsports, every detail matters. No compromises. No shortcuts. Experience the difference.

Hi, I can't wait for my wheels to arrive! Quick question, is it still a 20 business day lead time as stated in the OP? Sorry if this was answered elsewhere, I didn't see it in the FAQ on the site

That's correct. 20 days + ETA for shipping. Sea Freight is 2-3 months and 1-2 weeks for Air Freight.

Here is a change log photo comparison between the 2020 model and 2025 model:
