Well the parts came in and as soon as I was under the car I realized they were for the wrong section in the parking brake line. So this time I did the smart thing, took pictures and checked the service manual. I can't find the part in the service manual, but I have a picture to post to give you guys a better idea of what I'm missing. Anyone have any idea as to what part it is? I think it would be dead simple if I had ever actually seen the part on the car, but I don't have a lot of NSX's to compare it too :)

Dood, I've already created a parts catalog: 100% of the parts, 100% free. This was answered in your original story.

If you are unwilling to download it yourself, from here:

...then BrianK hosts a live copy on his server.

Here, I'll even link to the parts group area :

Take charge of your situation, stop asking for handouts! If you want to learn, this is how you start...

Sorry Drew, I don't want to seem like I am asking for handouts, I appreciate all of your advise and I dont want to out ask my welcome! The reason I asked is becasue I found the section in the parts manual you are talking about, the problem is that section is for the parking brake line and I need to part that it bolts 18 & 19 screw into. I really like this forum and how helpful everyone is so I think I will take my car to the Acura dealership so they can have a better idea of what part I am looking for and quit bugging you guys with little questions.

Man - You have some significant suspension parts missing, not only the brackets to hold up your brake cable

http://www.nsxe-repair.com/files/acuraparts/acuraparts/images/13SL00_014_2.gif - part #2 Rod 'A' looks like it's not there for sure - that's what bolts onto the cast aluminum part you have arrowed in your pic.

Check this drawing also for the various parts also - I believe I correctly identified the cable brackets previously in your other post.

Doesn't your car feel a little squirrely at the rear end?

If you can take a better picture looking straight up at the rear suspension (including sway bar) that would help

Take a look at pics in this thread - http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72704

That looks... BAD. Almost looks as if he were to "jump" or top out the suspension with a nice hump hard enough, it'd destroy that rear end..... Looks like it gives support to the lower suspension components to keep the car from doing the "splits", yikes!

Agg, I advise the forums over the Acura dealer any day!

OK, I was a bit harsh, I apologize.

It is very difficult to figure out what is missing from a single photo. It is a really big chunk of information that you are asking for...

What would be nice is if you locate your existing parts in the parts catalog.

Then try and determine what you might/be missing.

At that point: post all the questions and we'll be as helpful as possible. Your missing parts are going to fall over several different sub assemblies too. Having knowledge of how the parts catalog is divided up in the EPC is very helpful.

Again, I apologize. I was not trying to drive you away from asking questions, but good questions are best.

Drew
