Midrise lift suggestions - great whole car lift for garage

I just stumbled over this tread.

Chris said the snap on lift is about five grand and I've been searching the internet and found the midrise jack scissor lift in the low $1000 mark.

Anyone have any suggestions on a generic low cost lift? I'm trying to find one thats under the $2000 range. Anyone have a generic one that they can recommend?

I dont know, but I am afraid to get under those lifts..... especially the cheap generic ones.

personaly l wouldnt work under a cheap one as well, at 1300 plus kg of nsx, l dont think it worth the risk.

I have the blue one. It is made by Bend-Pak. I paid $1200 7years ago. It is safe. It has a safety lock, if the hydraulic ever comes out, it will be held in place.

Been happy with it. Hope that helps.

be aware of the fact that most of the small lifts will fit only under you floor-pan, not under the lift-points that were intended to handle the load.

That lift that is at Chris NSX's house is a snap on lift. I bought found the for under $2000. Chris is just borrowing my lift.

Great lift for an NSX. The max height is about 4 1/2 feet high. I even pulled my motor out with the lift.
