The yearly SCCA sanctioned and village of Empire (MI) sponsored EMPIRE HILL CLIMB was conducted the weekend of Sept. 20th. Cindy (SCCA Detroit Region Flag Chief) worked it - flagging and communications - and was stationed at start. About 45 cars entered, everything from an old Rolls-Royce to a Caterham. They all got six timed runs up the ~ 1/2 mile
curvy hill.
NSX content: At Friday evening's Tech inspection/gathering there was a Brooklands Green 1994 NSX w/tan interior. It did not run the hillclimb.
Also NSX related content: Longtime Primer and great guy
@curtsr 's brother Craig and his son were both entrants. Craig ran his beautiful 2006 Acura RSX Type-S, and Craig's son ran a race-prepped late 90's Civic hatch.
Good weather, village of Empire a super host, great people, no incidents.
