Michigan check-in & spotting by blodi pt.2

A reminder that this weekend is Race #2 at Waterford Hills, so if you guys want to come by and watch the action (we run from 10am-6pm) and maybe even spend $5 and do some lunchtime laps.....please keep us in mind.

Flag Day

L and G -

This Sunday is Flag Day, June 14th.

It is also Toledo C-n-C meet 9a-11ish. First one in a while I may be able to attend.

If interest, chime in. I could ask Petey to save us 3-4 spaces (maybe...)

I interested in the C - n - C this Sunday, let me know what you guys figure out.

Probably headed to Wilson Barn..

FYI - I-75 will be closed both ways between I-375 and the lodge from 9PM friday night to 5am monday morning.

I am always up for the Death Run to Toledo (thank you Neal and Ryan)!! For me going to be weather dependent and also need to recover from right leg injury (must be creeping middle/old age --have no idea how I did it but had terrible right leg cramp last Sat night and since then calf area has been very sore. Seems to be a bit better today so if mostly better Sunday and weather ok I will do my best to connect with the gang.

Best,
Jeff

Mission approved -

NORAD, Sync-Pak, FAA, and gov-trip clearances obtained. Charts filed.

Weather-dependant for Sunday - VFR only.

Thinking a Sunday morning 7:30 A.M. arrival at US-23 / Plymouth Road Park-N-Ride lot (SW corner of interchange - no restroom facilities but a Sweetwater Cafe coffee bar to west of this on N side of Plym. Rd.).

And a prompt 7:45 A.M. southbound departure.

Will post up cell # or provide by PM beforehand.

P S to Dave & Linda - We like MCB, and I know you will see this, so better "come on down" for some excitement

Is that a gin mill, breakfast spot, or a watering hole?
Old barn/community gathering center, middlebelt at west Chicago. Big annual car show every June.

FYI - Nascar is running at MIS at 1:00pm on sunday.

And it looks as if they are going to be running in the rain :frown:

Sunday

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. South southwest wind 5 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Will check forecasts later this evening.

The reason for my absence :

On June 12th got married back home in Iraq, it was a great night for me and my bride ( Nurdan). Celebrated the evening with many family and friends. Flew back few days ago still jet lagged. I will be picking up the nsx from my friends tonight, it's been down for 2 months.

You clean up well buddy!

Does anyone have a clear bra on their car? I'm thinking now might be the time to do it, while there are no chips in the front yet.

Anyone want to talk me into or out of it?
Anyone have somewhere or someone local they can recommend to do it?

I had one on my prior car; it was great! I think someone here has one, either Neil or Jeff I believe...

P.S. Is anyone doing Rolling Sculpture in Ann Arbor on July 10th?

We have one venture shield on our 2004 and it is great. We had a3m one on before but iMo the venture shield is superior. No orange peel look to it. If you want to see in person let me know anytime.

Thanks everyone!

Patrick I clean up 5 days out of the week lol I usually dress bummy on weekends

I'll spend your $$$ . Yes. Do it. You can spend whatever you please for the protective coverage you desire on this. We protected both noses (and other leading edges) with 3M product. There are 'Primers who have protected their entire NSX's!

I've never heard anything negative about Venture Shield, either.

There is a fellow in Plymouth who does 3M/Venture, or both (not certain). PM or honk my horn for his name / #.

Well, yes. I was going to write the check and enter into Rolling Sculpture this weekend :encouragement:
