Question for all Las Vegas members. I am gettng a lot of pms regarding safe parking at hotels. According to my source (21 yo car-nut daughter), the safest would be casino-hotel valet parking with seperate and underground parking. Is this true? I know about valets taking an NSX for a joy ride, but I don't think that happened here in Vegas. If we can collectively come up with some relatively safe solutions, this will help our fellow NSX owners and increase the turnout as well. Any suggestions?

i bowl in leagues and tournaments all over town and i have use the valet parking all the time. it's the safest. re-joy riding? i don't thinlk they would dare to loose their high paying jobs for that.:biggrin:
So is this GTG separate from the track days happening on the 5-6th at Parumph?

Hey Danny,
I've got a buddy who does Valet at Boulder, and there's no way he would risk his job by going joy riding. Doesn't mean all valet attendants think that way, but I think the odds are in your favor your car is safe with valet. I would recommend calling the hotel you're staying in, and checking if their valet'ed cars are parked in a covered/underground, or parked outside. So you can decide what you're comfortable with. I know the previous owner of my NSX would only park his car at the Bellagio, toke the guy a $20, and his worries were over...

Has anyone used the valet services at the Las Vegas Hilton off Paradise Road? and if so how would you rate it? Also how much of a risk for theft or vandalism is Vegas compared to other places in the world to park you car. I wasn't worried much in Seattle or Portland, would Vegas be any different?

Valet at Hilton Paradise rd. is underground. Very safe. Valet is free. They only depend on tips.

Yes! Mt. Charleston is almost 12,000 ft. The ski resort starts around 8000 ft. It was chilly when Chris and I got up there at 8:00, but the sun warms you up fast. Supposedly gets to 55 degrees by noon though. I would bring a sweater but a heavy coat would be overkill.
