The schedule for our May 5 Vegas-SoCal weekend meet is now ready. After discussion at our meet today, we feel this will give a good balance activities and R&R. For those participating in the Dali event, you are welcome to join up with the rest of us after the driving event. As each meal will require a head count, please indicate if you want to be included at each location. For example, if you plan on going to the Saturday lunch and dinner, but plan to head out early on Sunday, you will indicate: #1-yes, #2-yes, #3-no

Friday: Nothing planned. Flexibility for individual hookups/gambling/shows/late arrivals/ LV Speedway drag strip (yoh FX, Brian)

Saturday Lunch at Cheesecake Factory: First formal meeting for this event. Signup #1
Time: 11:00 (hopefully this will work for all you hung over/broke gamblers who went to bed at 08:00)
Address: 750 S. Rampart (702) 951-3800

Saturday Scenic Drive Mt. Charleston/ Lee Canyon (approx 1 hour each way) 6000 feet elevation change and easy to drive in a convoy
Start: Leave Cheescake factory whenever (13:00-14:00?)
Photo Shoot.
Return to Vegas and rest for dinner.

Saturday Dinner
Time: 19:00
Location: Green Valley Ranch Station Casino "Feast Around the World"
Address: 2300 Paseo Verde Pkwy, Henderson
We will have a member (thanks Levi!) wait in line for a 7 pm seating. Cost of buffet is 18.99. Please have this ready at lunch as we will be collecting it then. For those at the track who want to come for dinner, we will have a member collecting your entry fee there as well. Signup #2

Saturday Night:

Open schedule. Some possible events include Fast Lap (indoor go-karting), Circus-Circus Olympiads, FX/Seamless. We will organize into groups for different destinations.

Sunday Morning
Meet up at Mikes shop: Wholesale Connection @ 6280 S. Valley View Building F, Suite 614 Las Vegas, NV 89118 (Thanks Levi!)
Time: 10:00, drive/cruise up the World famous Las Vegas Strip, u-turn at the Stratosphere, cruise down the Strip to an as yet determined brunch location (ahem..Paul).

Location: TBD
Time: At conclusion of the Strip cruise, approximately 12:00-12:30

This schedule is not set in stone and can be modified if a need arises. We would also like to arrange a get together with the Legend owners who will be in town on the same weekend. Any suggestions on how to contact them is appreciated. Furthermore, there is enough flexibility in the schedule for those who wish to drive out to the Spring Mountain Track in Pahrump to cheer on those at the track. Only 3 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!!

Question for you Vegas guys.....Where is there a good hotel to stay that will be safe to park the nsx? I dont want to have to worry about the car. Also any good washes near by since I know it will need one when I get there. Any suggestions will be welcome. Thanks.

If your name is on the list and you are planning to come, please fill in if you will be coming to the Saturday lunch (#1), Saturday dinner (#2), Sunday brunch (#3). If your plans have changed and you are not planning on coming, please remove your name on this list. All those who plan on coming, please sign on. We will be making nametags off this list.

Mark Johnson: Please check with your NSX drivers if they plan on joining us for dinner and the Sunday morning activities.

Update for Legend meet. I spoke with one of their organizers (Tyson). Plan is to rendezvous with their caravan at the junction of 95 and 156 (Lee Canyon). They will be at the Dali track event in the morning, lunch in Pahrump, then meet up with us on our way to Charleston.

Yes, you will be have plenty of time to get back in town, rest and clean up before dinner. Lance (nsxalot) will be at the track also. He will collect the dinner fare ($19.00) from those at the track who will be at the dinner then he will call me with the confirmed head count. I along with another Vegas member will be in the buffet line to hold our table before everyone arrives at 19:00. Looking forward to seeing you on that weekend.

Chris and I will take a trip up to Charleston this Saturday to scope out the area for photo-op, parking, etc. IF there is a large enough picnic area, how about a barbeque hosted by the LV members up on the mountain on Saturday instead of Cheesecake factory? We can also invite the Legend guys as well. Should be a nice way to chill, meet new friends, talk and look at cars and enjoy good food in a serene setting. We can then caravan back down to the valley afterward. We will explore some more and update everyone by Saturday. Chris came up with this great idea-thanks Chris!

That sounds like a great idea. If you guys like Hawaiian food, I can check catering prices with my friend who has a Hawaiian restaurant. Just let me know...

We were thinking mostly Costco stuff: grilled burgers and chicken...with a hawaiian flair would be nice though...
