OK, so will someone please tell - or better yet, SHOW, me where in the name of Zeus's butt is the MAP sensor is located. I looked in the normal places - throttle body and firewall - and can't find it, unless I'm looking right at it and am just clueless. I see references to the MAP sensor in the manual (but can't find an image or location of it in manual), I've read about it in posts, I've seen a picture SOS has of one, and I know what the part looks like. But I can't find it! One post said it was on the driver's side of the engine compartment and attached a picture from SOS that didn't have enough reference in the picture to orient me. I'm having really sluggish to non-existent acceleration at higher speed. I can stomp on gas and it either does nothing or starts dying. Someone said to check the MAP sensor, in addition to other gremlins. Seems a good idea, if I could only find it! Thanks in advance.

Thank you. That's exactly what I needed and I hope it helps others who search here in the future. As it turns out, that's the sensor I had come to believe it was, but didn't want to start pulling apart the control box without being sure. Also, if that's your car in the pics, I think I see a spec of dust . . . no, wait, that's just a shadow.

Glad this helped. Yes, that's my car. Just your average 145,000 mile 1994.
