I maybe interested in buying a car listed in the market place. The car has not had a new timing belt or water pump installed. What is the cost for a typical 60K maintanence?
Are you asking about the cost of replacing the timing belt and water pump, or the cost of a 60K service?
The timing belt and water pump are recommended for replacement after 90K miles or 6 years, whichever comes first, on a '91-96, and 105K/7 on a '97-05, and typically costs $1200-1600.
The 60K service includes replacement of fluids and filters and adjustment of valves, and typically costs $900-1200.
Are you aware that there is an NSX FAQ (answers to Frequently Asked Questions) that answers questions like this one? Click the word FAQ in the red bar at the top of your screen, the one that looks like this:
The car is listed by jkballard a '95 with almost 48k miles. WP and TP have not been changed. I will read more on FAQ so I can ask more informed questions to the forum and seller.
