Just looked at JH4NA1184ST000581 here in Scottsdale, AZ

It is certainly a 52,000 mile car that is 16 years old.

If you are looking into it, request well-lit high resolution pictures of:
the front bumper
hood
targa top (especially the passenger side near the back corner)
door under the passenger mirror
air intakes
front of rear wing
all 4 wheels
seats and bolsters
-
The stock factory front spoiler is off and placed in the trunk
The passenger side of the lower bumper is spiderwebbed (curbed)
all tools are there, CD changer, spare tire
The oil filler cap is cracked and needs to be replaced
There are two linear tears in the rear weatherstripping where the targa top rests
the body panels appear straight and gaps are correct
No tooling marks evident on body panel bolts
Their prep kid sprayed down the engine bay with glossy dressing everywhere and left a greasy film on topside components
The car is dirty underneath and further down in the engine bay
It is not a garage queen... it is a driver
you may want to view it from that perspective
I did not start the car or test anything mechanical since its sitting on the showroom floor and I was tight on time today.
(I'm presenting this objectively so you may draw your own conclusions...)

Thanks for the post. Hopefully it helps out a future buyer. Was it used as a track car? I still consider that low miles for an NSX and if it's a little beat up, could have been used on the track.

No problem, just highlighting some areas of the car that show flaws
I have no idea if it was tracked, appears to have stock components.
the rear bumper shows a few minor surface blemishes
the color of the paint looks quite good for 16 yrs old
this NSX is an example of why clear bra is a good idea, no clear bra on it
if a PPI mechanical inspection checks out okay, it would make a decent DD
The friendly salesguy, Suk Chang, mentioned he knows mugen_kid

I went along with RedWings and totally agree with his review of the car!

Just saw this car online, I'm going to look into possibly buying it. Thank you very much for posting up your observations. Very much appreciated. I love this community.

Be sure you deal only with "Suk." He is a big time NSX enthusiast and knows a lot about the car. The other salesman only deal with Lexus' products.
