light weight wheels

I'm going to sell my Custom "Blades" Silver TE37s soon. They measure 17x7.5 +40 front, and 18x9.5 rear +40 rear. I'm selling it with tires. The tires are bridgestone potenza S03 214/40R17 front and 255/35ZR18 rear. Less than 5,000 miles use on tires and wheels. I will post them up on ebay in a couple of weeks. Just thought I want to get the word out.

That's what I keep telling people in these forums. Those pretty boy designer wheels are almost all boat anchors. Most don't even publish the weight in their own specs. Junk, junk, junk.

I'm trying to buy some TE37s (no stock) but I'll be getting 17/17 so I can use the 2002 OEM tires. So, I'm not a buyer for your wheels, but I am very curious to know why you are selling them so soon. Anything I should know?

BTW I would have done this by email, but your's isn't listed.

I usually sell my stuff on ebay only, the best way to get a fair market price. There are too many times when a guy offers me a good price, I accept, then a day later some other guy offers me a better price. Doh! (Plus ebay also gives me a wider audience)

I just wanted to let everyone know on this. Sorry if you thought this post was directly directed towards you. I have also updated my profile to include my email address.

I'm selling the wheels because I'm beginning to track my car alot so I'm going back to OEM. Thanks.

RYRY,

what would you be looking to get for the wheels before you put them on ebay?

and what is the weight of them if you know?

KenjiMr, recently I've been doing alot of track driving rather than street driving. My OEMs are currently on my car now and the TE37s are not being used, which is why I decided to sell them.

smoore, I really don't know how much I can get. But I decided to set the starting bid at $1,000 with no reserve. According to Daliracing, the front weighs 15.2lbs, and the rear weighs 17.0 lbs. I will also be selling the Potenzas that are now mounted on the tires as well as the Rays Engineering Duraluminum wheel lugs and wheel lock made for the TEs as a complete package.
