Lexus Confirms V10 for LF-A

looks like a fusion of many, lol...

Attractive design... interesting choice: front-engine, rwd even though the engine isn't going to be 'enormous'!?!

I wonder if there will be a down-market offering based off this in the form of a Toyota Supra?!?

With "over" 500hp, I cannot see the next NSX not having similar power.

Remember the MKIV Supra TT from Toyota was 320bhp ('93-'98) while the NSX at the time was only 270bhp ('91-'96), and later 290bhp ('97+). HP wars become pissing contests... Precision/ quality/ balance/ refinement/ performance, NetViper'san . . .

IMO too bland. They need to work on some curves along the fenders to give that muscular and exotic look. Otherwise it would just be another BMW 7 series coupe.

Who is going to buy this car?? Remember, you're at a nightclub and some golddigging hotties are there. The guy next to you says "I drive a Ferrari." You say "I have a Lexus LF-A." Who do the girls think is the coolest?

For the money they're asking, I would FAR rather have a Ferrari if I went sports and by FAR an Aston if I went GT and I am one of the guys who got the "Acura" instead of the "Porsche." This Lexus is neat and all, but $120k can easily get you a 550 Maranello....

All these supercars...just in time for $4/gal gas! What great foresight.

I agree, but I don't feel sorry for anyone who drops the money on any one of these supercars and then complains about gas being $4.00 a gallon.

I don't think anyone with the $$ to drop on a 100+ car would complain $4.00 a gallon  maybe people who drop $80k might though....

Most rich people get rich by being cheap. The whole "millionaire next door" thing. My dad is certainly not a millionaire, just a guy w/ a pension now, but even he was stingy, putting regular gas into his RX8, which called for premium. Don't underestimate how cheap people are.

Not everyone who drives a car like this just laughs and smokes cigarettes rolled in $100s. That's just rap video BS. Maintenance and operation costs ARE considered by people who spend $120,000 on cars. If you assume that the only people buying Ferraris are those who can pay cash for them, then you're grossly mistaken.

The gas prices will percolate through all phases of the economy, worsening everyone's bottom line.

Umm, Did you happen to miss the smiley faces??

This car is the single most compelling reason as to why Honda will build the new NSX. It's amazing to me with as much as these two companies are constantly coping the other why Lexus didn't have a NSX car if nothing else but to keep it consistent.
