We missed you on the drive. See you on the next.

You and Robert are as bad as Jason and I.

Hey Jason what happened to you when we hit the 405? I hit it hard and never saw you again. You said you were going to show me something. All I saw was you disappearing in my mirror. What was that about your turbo?

Mike those were great pics. Who's bad ass murdered out black car is that.

Haha, I didnt know how far down the road was me and John were going to. I went down to his pad, and didn't want to pass him, obliterate you, then miss my exit. I thought you were gona get pulled over when we first got on the 405. You took off and I saw a bike cop right behind you. If that was me, id be f^^ked.

As for the pics, thanks to all the guys who took them. They look great.

It was another fun drive put on by Lead Master Royale. Thank you, Les, for giving us a fun reason to drive our NSXs.

You're all welcome for the lemon bars and I'm glad you all liked them. Thank you, guys, for taking photos and posting them. I know it's a lot of work. I didn't take any yesterday.

I have to say, I finally like driving the NSX on twisties more than I do in my S2000. After driving your local OC drive, the Malibu drive twice, and the De Luz drive twice, I have enough fun road seat time to make a real comparison. The S2000 has always been my favorite since I've driven around 148,000 miles in S2000 seats, and have only 13,200 miles in my NSX. Second gear in the NSX is perfect for drives like we've been doing and so much fun. In the S2000 I'd be banging off 2nd and into 3rd, and back down again. I want to stay for lunch next time but I did love seeing my son in Ventura yesterday after not seeing him for two months.

It was truly a pleasure meeting everybody and getting to hang out. A close knit car club is something that has been missing in my life, so I am excited to be a part of the NSX community (which has been my favorite car of all time for a very long time).

Les, thank you so much for setting these up, they truly are a great part of SoCal NSX ownership. Patty, thanks for the lemon bars, they were delicious!

I like to write/post photo blog type stuff, so I made a thread in the photos section of Prime. This is what I posted:

LMR schedules SoCal NSX runs, and last Sunday 16 cars showed up in Malibu for some canyon carving!

We met up at an Albertson's parking lot.

Patty's Blue could be spotted a mile away. She also spoiled us with her lemon bars which were eaten too quickly to be photographed.

There were parts of dense clouds, which made for beautiful landscapes and limited visibility driving.

After lunch we broke off. Mike and I went on a little more canyon carving, including the 1-way. Yeah, a 1-way canyon road, pretty awesome!
7107022749_27a32de197_b.jpg

We encountered 2 kids practicing sliding, along with their dad following them down in a minivan. It was cool seeing them because I used to go sliding with my friends in parking structures!

And the last shot to end the day.

Colin

Fun drive and hanging out with friends. Lemon bars get better each time. Thanks to all for the pictures.

I actually enjoy this drive more than others, and I think it is because the drive was not too long and just enough to satisfy my craving, and that there weren't much traffic at all. I usually gets tried by the end of the drive but not this one.

Austin, have a safe trip back.

Colin, nice meeting you, and I like this picture particularly:

Those are actually shadows from the overhead power lines

That being said, I'm sure people have had ill fated ends off of that cliff.

Yo junior don't let this chimichanga talk to you like that !!!

Hahaha. Dont feel bad junior. Mexichulpa doesnt know what raw power feels like. Keep up on me robert hahaha. And for the record, i hold the record, for the shortest time in a f/i car before getting a ticket. I literally got a ticket that i had to get a lawyer to fight that happened no joke the first hour of taking possesion of my car. Gone in 60 minutes then bamn. The cop didnt believe me i just bought it, i thought he was gona let me off.... No that dick wrote me for 26 over the limit, couldnt be 25, no had to be 26, thus causing me to get a lawyer to get it off my record. Not the best record, but unless anyone can say they got one before the first hour, i hold the title haha.
