Wow, what a waste of a nice 91 NSX. This guy thinks it was a 3.1 Liter engine. I guess he couldn't decide if it was a NA1 or NA2 car so it used a number in the middle.

It looks horrible though.

THE HORROR!

Definitely a 91-92 (assuming the center arm rest was original) .... perhaps the best platform to do a kit car, perhaps a total blasphemy for most enthusiasts ....

First Optimus NSX now this? in the same week .. dang ...

The amazing thing is that when you consider the cost of the NSX and then the cost of the conversion you may not be that far off the price of a used Diablo. So what is the point?

This is the one that kills me..

I don't think I'd have a problem with people doing this sort of thing if they weren't making the car pretend to be something it isn't.. for example how much different is this really than the Veilside Fortune NSX kit?

engine picture is WIN:biggrin:

and whos this thats about to be banished from prime?

Q: That is really a nice kit! I have an NSX now and have owned several in the past. I thought Lambo kits where only made for GM conversions. Looks awesome!!
A: Thank you, I basically made the lambo kit fit this NSX, Most of the kits out there that are made for GM conversions need pretty much the same work to make fit whatever donor car you choose, these things do not just... Continue reading

NSX Reliability and Maintenance and the Lambo look...why not?

 I'm against changing the color of a NSX, but this........

No words.

I think the workmanship is pretty darn good. You guys may not be a fan of the principle behind it, but it doesn't look too bad.

Yea but did you guys see the interior pics??? while its parked for the picture the MPH shows the needle pinned at 200 MPH,,must have broken the Gauge,, LOL not bad but 50K into a replica? plus the cost of the car a def waste!! and the fake engine cover,, LOL I cant even comment on that one!!

he killled it with that engine cover, however the exterior looks good. i guess he has the money to waste but not to actually buy a real one:eek:

Well, it'll probably handle better than a real Diablo....

Honestly though, if you can fabricate fairly well, or can afford to pay for this type of thing, why not just find a lightly-wrecked Diablo if that's what you're set on.

Unlike most Fiero kits, this one might actually fool the trained eye if it just drove past (assuming you couldn't hear it).

and the miles are f-ed.... last reported miles from the DMV was 99,000+ miles teh ad says it has 94,000 I gues that doesnt matter when its Carfax report is scared at 13 LOL 2 wrecks funny 3.1 liter,,,

I think it turned out very nice. The only downer will be when it is fires up. Unless it's running open pipes! Can't replace V-12 sound with half the cylinders I'm afraid.

I think the biggest advantage to this build is reliability. Plus, the average person would never be able to tell until the engine cover was opened.

I have seen uglier NSX's right her on Prime!!

Not a fan...however, like others have said, I have seen was worse. This does make me appreciate the OEM styling of the NSX even more! lol

I can't imagine actually doing something like this but I have to admit that is one of the nicest modded interiors I've seen. The center console has some stuff on I'm not sure I understand but it's nice execution - except for the Lambo script on the glove box.

The body looks like someone did a decent job. I almost choked when I saw the fake intake.....that one killed me. Otherwise it's not that bad really. Most people that see it don't have any idea what's supposed to be under the hood. So only car guys would know the sound.

All in all not a bad use for a wrecked out NSX. But then it could have been an NSX boat..... There you go Shaun. That's the kind of wreck that's needed for the boat.

Real diablos also have 300zx head lights.

+1 6.0's have the Z lights. I bet the NSX did not look pretty prior to this conversion so I doubt it was a total loss. I am not a kit car fan but that car looks to be done very well. I would much rather drive a NSX versus a Fiero. But for the same money he spent he could have bought a early 90's Diablo.

Fake V12 engine cover notwithstanding, this looks like a pretty decent conversion. I've sure as hell seen worse.

Guys, I agree with this statement ~ aside from the FAKE ENGINE COVER, the rest of the car really doesn’t look bad at all. I’m very much against fake replica’s of any sort but this attempt is really done well. I’ve seen far worse and this one actually has pretty good proportions/ratios to the real car.

I never understood people’s reasoning behind this type of project as the COSTS to do this can’t be cheap and I bet this costs far more than most NSX-R conversions currently on this site…..for someone to do it right he obviously has to have $$$.

I also agree the NSX probably was a salvage or wrecked piece to begin with so it’s not a total loss. Selling a salvage title NSX is near impossible so the owner did the next best thing and re-incarnated it into this beast! Not my cup of tea but I do appreciate the effort for amusement purposes! Haha

But for the same money he spent he could have bought a early 90's Diablo.

Which is exactly why I don't seen anyone purchasing this car for $48k. For a little more money a real Diablo can be had.

not my taste, but i give the guy a lot of credit for being very creative in doing that, i bet it was not an easy task, a lot of hard work and headache to do that. Overall i think he did a great job.
