Hey guys, I wondering if any of you had advice for my right knee problem I've been having for a few months. I went to the doctor and they said it was tendinitus. I was diagnosed with tendinitis a few years back for both knees (I used to play competitive volleyball) so I know what tendinitis feels like. This situation is a bit different in that it's not so much the pain but the lack of strength and range of motion. If I start out with my knee totally bent and try to straighten it out, about at the half way point it just "gives" but once it passes that point then it's fine. Is it still tendinitis or should I get a second opinion? I would really love to get my knee back in shape before the volleyball season starts while I have a few good years ahead

Greetings from Seattle ..

I would suggest a second opinion , from a Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in Sports/Knee issues ....

I'm not sure your age , however , it's most likely a meniscus and or cartilage issue , If you would like to pm me I would be happy to speak with you over the phone about this , also tell me where you reside , I will ask my Partners
for a reference , they are the Seattle Seahawks Orthopedic Surgeons .
(Go Hawks ! )

most important , be evaluated by a expert , ( as in the first sentence)
