A few of the Z guys were talking about maybe getting together Sunday if it was decent out... My new Volks should be here tomorrow so I wanted to snag some pics of the NSX with the new wheels, thought it could be a good opportunity for everyone to get together?

I'd like to, never ran heartland park. My car goes in the shop april 1st for new timing belt, water pump, thermostat, valve adjustment, new hoses all around, all fluids changed, etc, etc. Got my bonus check finally coming end of the month.

Very cool. I slapped my new Volk AV3s on there today... looks 10x better than it did before imho. It seems pretty likely at this point that I'll order a Taitec GTLW in the near future as well.

My goal is to have this done to the car by the end of May for Branson Z Fest:

Install the BC coilovers I bought a month ago
Aggressive alignment
Taitec GTLW
Headers
Prospeed ECU
NSX-R front sway bar
NSX-R Chassis braces
Carbotech Pads, SS lines, new fluid

Sounds like a lot, but hopefully I can put in some extra hours at work to make it all happen. If I could get my blasted Z sold, it would all happen a LOT easier.

I hate you. lol, I got 2 bonus checks this month, so i have 8k$ sitting in the bank, very very very tempted to get parts for the car, but i'm being a good boy and dumping it to the credit card. Only thing i'm spending is the 1000$ for the maintenance on the car.

Sounds good. I talked to Angel and he said some of the Viper guys are meeting at Sadler's tomorrow around noon... I don't feel like racing karts tomorrow, but I will probably at least meet him up there for a bit. I'll call you tomorrow if I decide to go.

Unfortunately I never got a hold of him seeing as the guy I was planning on buying the headers off of sold them out from under me... I was under the impression that he was holding them for me so I could get my 4.10 gearset sold from my 300ZX, but when I messaged him on Thursday telling him the payment would come tomorrow, he told me he had already sold them... If I had known he wasn't going to hold them, I would've sent the money a week ago. :| Oh well! You win some and you lose some... probably will end up with a Taitec GTLW instead now.

I did end up stopping by Sadler's with the Viper crowd (Lots of people, but only two people actually drove their Vipers, ). It was a decent lil meet... I was feeling way under the weather though so I didn't stay long at all. I did go out and snap some new pics of the NSX though, so I'll throw those up here shortly...

How do you guys keep your cars so clean....I think i have the dirtiest NSX in K.C. :biggrin: Pete, nice wheels those are a classic and now hard to find. You need to lower it about 3/4" or so.

If I remember right, there's a shop downtown with weights to do it... I'll talk to Tim at Lee's Summit Honda. He's the one who will be doing the alignment on my NSX and getting it setup. I know he's had to setup various cars in the past for autoX and I believe he's gotten his CRX corner weighted before, so once I find out, I'll shoot you a text or PM.
