Well said, hopefully no offense was taken.

Please don't take my comments as directed specificallly at you, I am just a little sensitive to the combining of legal and moral. I've been on the autobahn, and on HWY 50. I would feel more comfortable at that speed on HWY 50 given a deserted road, which often the case. In my eyes, if you are going to take an educated risk HWY 50 is a fine choice.

Cheers all, nice pic!

No offense taken at all.

Here's one of mine !

I can't tell you where it was taken but it was not in Germany !

If the car is stock, the maximum speed the car will go in 5th gear will be achieved at 7100 rpm since that is where the nsx reaches maximum horsepower i.e., they are maxed out.

That is exactly my experience on Hwy 50 some years ago. Driving back to SF from Colorado my ex-wife and I drove with absolutely no traffic all day long. So we drove between 130 and 140 mph all day. We took accasional blasts to 160 mph, but that was her cut-off! One problem though, at one point we had to slow down as there were two cows on the road!!! As some of you may know, it's wilderness out there with just old barbed-wire fences (partially) lining the side. It's kinda dangerous.

...and is it just me or do you have the ac on as well?

Oh yeah, and I did it with th AC on too. It gets hot on Hwy 50 in the summer! The car ran at normal operating temps in 95 degree weather and the AC blasting!
