Jul 31 - Sunday Supercars - run to LA and back

Holy Crap you are crazy Chase!

6 hour + drive. 390 miles. That is just 1 way.
Need to find a hotel room.
Place to wash our cars.

The drive back will be brutal. Then I gotta work on Monday.

hmmmmmm

I'm thinking this would be loads of fun. Im in the Tucson area so ill have a couple hundred more miles!! When/where were you thinking to meet up?

Crap

I was just called out of town on business all next week.

As much as I'd like to make this crazy drive, meet the SoCal gang, and check out Supercar Sunday its not going to happen for me. :frown:

If anyone does head out to LA...
A few SoCal folks on the other thread volunteered couch space/spare bed/etc

Ok, Im talking to one of the SoCal guys trying to hammer out the details for Supercar Sunday. Looks like I may leave the Tucson area sometime saturday afternoon and find a place to stay in cali, so I can meet up with the cali folks in the morning for the show/breakfast/cruise and so forth. It will be a long drive, but that's what cars are for, right? And being in Malibu surrounded by Ferraris and Lambos....we might even run into some celebs! Anyone interested in heading up there with me?

I'm one of the SoCal guy working with you guys. Send me a Pm as there is 2 of us working to help with the details for you guys coming.

I would be up for it when it gets cooler. Oct./Nov.

Well, Les...Looks like I'll be flying solo! Until Iget to Cali, of course and meet up with the 30+ others signed up on the Cali forum. Need more AZ representation though!!!

Chris, the others will be missing out, especially after they see all the pics and video that will be posted.

So come on people, don't be someone who says afterwards that they wished they had come. We in SoCal will help in any way if you come join this fun event.

I live near the 2nd. meeting spot and have a couple of empty beds, if that will help convince you to go. Sam can't make it. How about Frank and Calvin? Flip a coin and bring one of your cars! I'll have a cold one (or two) waiting for you.

Mario

Hi Mario & Chris, sorry for the late reply. I have been traveling for work quite a bit recently, was in San Jose when this event happened. I hope you all had a lot of fun.

I haven't even been on this forum since July due to work being so hectic.

I hope everyone is doing well!!!

Hello Frank,

The meet and the drive, although a little wet, was great. Check out the photos on the previous pages.

Speaking of photos, are there anymore getting close to being posted? Any videos? Thanks Eric for taking so many photos of my rear end (car rear end that is)!

Anyway, hope to see you Frank (and Calvin) at another NSX event. Us CA & AZ owners need to get together again to eat talk NSX's and eat!!!!!

Very nice photos!!

My NSX has been sitting idle for a bit too long. Tried to take her out this weekend for a quick drive, and the battery was completely dead (even on trickle charger!!).

Got a brand new battery waiting to be installed. But it's like an oven in the garage this time of year, so I'm going to have to suck it up and install it at like 4am or something.

Looking forward to getting together again!!

PS Mario - you doing the Cal Coastal drive?
