JGTC on TV (eurosport)

Hi all,
yesterday evening at midnight (CET) I found out that on EuroSport they broadcast JGTC races.

At 9:30 the 17. May.

Maybe also from the US you can see it via Web or via satellite...

Yes ! I saw the race too !!!!!! I could not believe it !!!!

Gheba, I almost called you at midnight to tell you to watch Eurosport !

That's what I call a TRUE race and I like to see the McLaren F1, Diablo, Ferrari 360 behind the NSX !

My girlfriend will understand to be waken up for these important matters...

The race was very good and the NSX looks better(!!! really!!!) than the McLaren F1!

Any chance of you guys taping it and send it to the US? I'll pay for shipping and the effort. Would be great if it is in DVD format, as my DVD can play all region.

GT-A, the organization that runs JGTC is making an attempting to offer the series to European customers since there are some European cars, and many European drivers in the races. I heard they were going to offer the commentary in English. Did this come true? You guys are making me jealous

For me the commentary was in french ...and for you Gheba ? I think in Zurich you should have german and english commentary !

Yes, I had german and english language!

Seems strange... but I do not own a VCR anymore (mine died two months ago... last VHS that I saw was the NSX Best Motoring tape that Mark Johnson sent me awhile ago...).

Isn't for you possible to watch via satellite Eurosport? We get over 400+ TV channels here in Europe from the whole world... I think it should not be that difficult. Is it?

For as great as we Americans think the United States is, most every European nation has a leg up on us in several areas, such as satellite TV, mobile phones, motorsports popularity and children who behave properly in public.

I cant stand this anymore. Lud, Do you know how I can get my hands on some JGTC races on tape or DVD. I got cable so I can see some real racing on Speedvision (now Speedchannel). All they really show is NASCAR (heavy pushrod ugly rolling billboards that go in circles). Thank goodness they still show Rally, motorcycle, and some GT type races (so we can at least see the comptech NSX). I hope you dont mind me posting this in the General boards Lud. If anyone have any ideas on how I can get JGTC footage let me know.
