JGTC NSX making Mines34 look like a toy

love how the NSX comes out of no where... and shortly thereafter dissappears to no where... hahaa

Not that it mattered but the driver of the R34 is terrible, he spent way too much time braking when he could have done it in one shift......not three:rolleyes:

Holy crap! That...was...awesome!

Two totally differently prepared cars but...that..was...awesome.

Perhaps if one is unfamiliar with that track, the gearing and incredible speed of the Mine's R34 could someone believe that the "driver" in that video was spending too much time braking and downshifting through "too many" gears. The poor quality of that video probably added to the disillusion.

However, I'm afraid your are incorrect by calling that driver "terrible". Motoharu Kurosawa is arguably one of the world's best drivers period. There is no further debate regarding this issue.

all time great tirbute to the NSX video!!!

you see the Porcshe GT get smoked, then the F40, then all the sudden the ARTA NSX just blows right by him:eek:

What kinda power output do JGTC NSX's put out? What mods are done?

Really amazing to see just how fast that NSX is loosing the Skyline after is has overtaken every other car on the track.

I have a video of a German friend Wolfgang on a track in his NSX who get overtaken by a Ferrari Enzo. He then chases the Ferrari and only slowly does the Enzo manage to get away, mostly on the straights. And the Enzo has even more HP than the JGTC NSX.
The NSX is this clip looses the Skyline much much faster.

Only too bad the quality of the video is so low.

If I memory serves correct the mines 34 fastest time around Tsukuba is 56 sec, the porsche close to 59-60 secs, f40 low 60's , NSX R NA2 is 62-63 and the Arta NSX 52 secs.

So the mines is the fastest production/tuned car in japan.

Get the Espirit turbo NSX out there.

I love it when you can see the nsx pass unexpectedly in the rearview mirror. Thanks for sharing!

I am fairly familiar w/Tsukuba Circuit and sure he is a "well known driver" for the area. But his skills are unnecesary, and mostly for show.

I would not say that he is

But then again:rolleyes:

Not that anyone should waste much time on this subject, but perhaps you could share with us what skills are you referring to as "unnecessary?"
