JGTC Mobil 1 NSX Ralph Firman crashes out!

I didn't know this. Ralph Firman, the primary driver for the Mobil 1 NSX in JGTC had signed a three year contract with Benson Ford. I don't know if any other drivers came from or went to F1 from JGTC, but I found this pretty exciting and was rooting for him during qualifying.

Unfortunately, on lap 6 of the race Ralph says he hit some oil during the race and crashed out ending his first F1 race.

A pity, his average speeds weren't too bad compared to some of the other drivers. But looking forward to seeing more racing and hoping this guy does much better...

Too bad its not Jordan Honda anymore. But its nice to see someone go from driving an nsx to a F1 car. I was pulling for BAR but with 3 pitt stops and one time both cars in the pitt at the same time

. Next week should be awesome with the wide track and more opp for passing!!!!!!!

Yeah! I saw that! I couldn't believe they got caught up in the pits... but, there's been talk of infighting between the two drivers and this may have occured on purpose.

One of them has done something like this in the past to get into the other driver's head, but this time it cost the other driver a better position.
