Way to go Jenson and Takuma :)

Few Ramblings:

-Honda should have 2nd place in the Constructor's cup locked in with this event.

-too bad Sato didn't podium.

-Michael checked out and LEFT everybody from the beginning. Ralf was absoluting amazing at this a Driver's track

-How many NSX did you see? :D

its in the bag for second place. renault would have to score 17 points with honda gettin none. button will get third for the year to. i cant wait to see who the will run next year.

I saw an NSX near the pits on Mugen MF10 wheels :D
I can't wait to see how Honda's V10 does next year. The commentators were saying how Honda's V10 could well be the most powerful engine next season with over 1000hp. That number brings back memories of the turbo era.

Anyone hear the new rumor that Rubens Barrichello will replace Button next year if the Williams deal goes through? The crazy soap opera that is F1!

 It would be interesting to see how well he could perform out of the shadow, but I somehow doubt it'll happen.

I'm hoping Davidson will jump in there :)

I believe Ferrari squashed the Rubens rumour as soon as it emerged in the headlines. Right now, it seems like we are waiting for Button, have Davidson as the 1st in line, Mika as a long-shot, and Coulthard wanting the seat.

Davidson deserves the spot in my opinion. The only problem is that he is unproven. Button is consistent. We have Taku as a wild-card so we need at least 1 consistent driver.

Only thing that concerns me with Davidson is his lack of experience in race conditions, but so far as a third driver in Friday practice, he has been really impressive. Mika coming back would be cool as heck, but seems unlikely. I really don't want DC driving for BAR Honda whatsoever!!!

reubens aint goin anywhere. either keepin anthony davidson or gettin hak or dc.bar is also lookin at a kid from brazil named enrique bernaldi. he has been testing with bar. williams is goin to be tuff for the next couple of years.they are supposivly gettin fisichella. he is a good driver just on a shitty team

Hey guys,

Thought you would want more info to the driver lineup for 2005. First though the race was incredible, I actually was there despite the Typhoon... Real rough weather. But here is some info for you BAR fans.

CRB: Button has to stay with BAR

The Contract Recognition Board has agreed that Jenson Button's contract with BAR is valid. The board met in Milan on Saturday and a decision was taken today. Button will have to stay now at the British BAR team.

A Williams spokesman confirmed that the Contract Recognition Board had found in BAR's favour.

The 24-year old Jenson Button had agreed with the Williams team to join them for next season, but the BAR said that Button still had a contract with the team.

>>Honda should have 2nd place in the Constructor's cup locked in
Honda does not compete in the Constructor's cup. It's for vehicle manufactuers and BAR is currently in second place.

>>too bad Sato didn't podium.
Taku was on a 2-stop strategy that saved time compared to his teamate's 3-stop strategy, yet his teamate finished ahead of him. Sato LOST third place as much as anyone else won it. Too bad Sato cannot drive as consistently quick as some others.

Though B.A.R has won the case, I wonder if keeping Jensen is worth it. I know he will still race hard but its kind of wierd knowing he will jump ship in a year from now. I think they should let him race half the time and let Ant race the other half to groom him.

It was the other way - Sato was a 3-stopper while Button was only 2.
