More of the Carrera GT. On the track, it might be a tick behind the Enzo, but I’d like to see the Ferrari kill this many bugs!

Nice pics, Ojas, thanks.

I only found out about this on Monday (I guess I need to check this forum more often). My buddy went, and was raving about the sweet exotics. He said he saw a 1985 Ferrari GTO (my all-time favorite). Did you happen to snap some pictures of that?

He mentioned the Carrera GT also, and how it was stealing the show, just being parked out front. It appears that the owner may live around my neighborhood somewhere (towards the east end of Richardson), because my buddy has seen him driving around there.

Great Pics Ojas- Thanks. Btw, I saw the same Carrare GT at the track on Sunday. He wasn't pushing it, but it sure was sweet to see it on the track with a Murciealago. I will post a couple of pics later.

nkb, I did not see one. I’ll kick myself if I somehow missed it. Any chance he mistook another car for a GTO? I’m trying to think of what looks similar... There was a black 512 BBi (I’ve attached the only picture I took of this one). The F40s resemble the Evoluzione version of the 288 GTO.

That’s awesome! Was he slowing you down around the track?

Entirely possible. I'm not sure how familiar he is with what it looks like, but when I asked him if he saw one of them, he said "yes".

That's funny. This link is my buddy's. The first one is his wife standing next to the Carrera GT.

I hate working on Saturday's, missed another good show. The Carrera GT might have stole the show if he would have taken some time to at least clean it.

 - Sorry, I but I dont' agree AT ALL. IMHO the Carrera GT owner is making a statement by showing what the car is meant to do. His bug splattered GT was at MSR on Sunday flying around the track. Seeing the Murceilago bat wings pop up at speed, and hearing the GT fly around the track was AWESOME. That is what those supercars are meant for. Kinda like what Jay Leno does with his cars. His cars win Concurs events on a regular basis, but he still drives them. To me that is a true automobile enthusiast. If I wanted to collect automotive art- I would collect models, posters, and paintings(which I do) but for God's sake PLEASE DRIVE THE FULL SCALE MODEL.

besides it was an ITALIAN car festival. The German stud stole the show in the parking lot. ;)

OK, I am getting off my Soapbox. I don't know about you but I feel better getting that off my chest. :o :p
